Don't like the thought of extra time happening more often tbh.

Here's a daft idea. After extra time, 5 penalties each. If no result, trophy withheld.  :)

Incredibly stupid, makes ties much more exciting and brings a very delicate balance to them. Watch Porto Juve this year most exciting match of the season for evidence.

The worst thing about football is it is run by fucking morons who can't stop tinkering with the rules every single year. There wasn't much wrong with them in the first place that's how it got to be the biggest sport in human history in the first place, then these fuckin wallopers can't stop 'trying' to improve them every bloody year while never doing so.

You do admit that the away goals rule was o good change, though...

Great news for the sport. Away goals have long had their day.

This should reduce the number of shitey cagey first legs. Just play fitba and try to score goals.

The reason it was brought in in the first place was cause of shitey cagey first legs.  Look at Celtic, for years best record in Europe at home, worst record in Europe away. At the same time. So if you're Celtic you might as well play 10 CB's away from home and just try to win at home.

It will inevitably lead to shite games as the away team sets out just to keep a clean sheet. Away goals enticed them out to try to score.  Incredibly naive to think this will lead to anyone just trying to 'play fitba and score goals'.

Couldn’t you argue that the away goals rule encourages shitebag behaviour at home?

If the home team in the first leg gets a 1-0, or even a 0-0, it’s usually described as a good or even great result.

Not really. Pick any team in the world, every single one of them has a better record at home than away, in every competition, every season ever.  Except this one actually.

So its in your interests to try to win the game at home and be more defensive away from home. Its simply logical.

The away goals rule made gave both teams motivation to attack in both legs, whereas without it the away team will be more motivated to just defend in the away leg.

So with away goals both teams try to score in both games, without it only one of them would try to score in each game effectively.

I think if they do get rid of it it will be reinstated within a few years as that's clearly a very stupid move.

I don't have BT so haven't seen any European games this season but notice they're showing the final on YouTube so will give it a go. Knowing the two teams involved I'm going to regret this, aren't I? :unsure2:

Pretty attacking line-up from Man City with no Rodri and Fernandinho. Meanwhile, Chelsea fans not happy.  😂

Does Tuchel watch Chelsea's matches? Playing Jorginho is a joke, too slow and can't tackle, ridiculous decision.
