St. Johnstone v Aberdeen (The Massey-Ferguson Main Event)

tell me more romeo
I can neither confirm or deny that I may or may not have placed a sizable amount (£3) on a no score draw.

Given my gambling history most people should run out and put a lump on a high scoring goal fest.

Aberdeens weakened squad still has a substantially stronger bench than us.

Mental how many folk are piling money into bets that we win.

That's a function of 2 factors.

1/ Aberdeen bench probably stronger than most of the starting 11.

2/ Our bench the weakest in the league by a mile

As an aside, May was 50/50 to play on Saturday and only wasn't risked because of the plastic pitch, but not on the bench tonight? Is there something going on?

ETA regarding point (2) I've not actually researched this, before I get flamed with names from the Hamilton/St Mirren/Country etc bench. Point being, our bench is horrific in a season where benches will win games.

Where to even start with that team?

Wright's chance. Hope he takes it.

He'll be injured within 10 minutes.

The pre-match interview was pretty much:

Who’s playing up front, Derek?

Not telling 8)

Apparently 4-3-3 with Ferguson as the striker.

So you've got Hayes at left back, your best striker on a wing, and your best CM as a lone striker.

Ferguson up front, apparently

This has been rumoured through the week. I've got him anytime scorer at 5/1.

Would he be taking any penalties?

@RandomGuy. Tanser still on penalty duty?

There's a fair chance here that we'll be 3-0 down within 20 minutes.

If the earth swings on its axis and we somehow win this, I'll start the 'Davidson oot' thread.

Thanks mate. I've always said you're a good c**t. No-one ever agreed with me. Some said I was half right.
