if they've not been able to train for 2 weeks thats surely an advantage to st johnstone fresh off their rangers and kilmarnock pumpings

They can train in isolation. Judging by the performance against sevconians that's what we've been doing anyway

1 player sacrificed himself for every game missed out by Hearts.

Careful what you say here, do you want to risk losing out on the Bloody Pound?

They were deducted 15 points that put them 4 points behind Queens with 3 games to play. I don’t think we had anybody from the club involved with the SFL at the time. We did have a chairman who was President of the SFA in the late 70s but that was more than 20 years before this event.

I am pretty sure that a club (Stenny?) who were involved and 15 points made them arithmetically safe by 1 point. I remember thinking it was an absolute scandal, but it is only wee Accies so who cares!

Don't see how it being moved to a Thursday night when Aberdeen will have all(?) Of the players back from quarantine is fair on At Johnstone.
Have they actually given a reason as to why the decision got changed from last night and it couldn't go ahead today with a weakened Aberdeen?
I assume it's just as a precaution in case of any false tests?
Surely at this point the players should be named and an apology issued...that wah the outrage doesn't continue when the teams are announced for Hamilton midweek

I'm sure we're all stunned that St Johnstone get punished for Aberdeens mistakes, but Celtic will benefit through playing a weakened Aberdeen side.

A complete fucking shambles.

Harsh... but fair

🗓️| Our Premiership fixture with @AberdeenFC originally scheduled for Saturday 22nd August has been pushed back by 24hrs and will now take place at 3pm on Sunday 23rd August instead.

This is due to a rescheduling of another Aberdeen fixture in the week leading up.

Thats us now got 5 games in 17 days, through no fault of our own, in a situation (long lay off then lots of games) thats proven to increase injury risk.
