No excuses, 100% Aberdeen at fault. St Johnstone should also be compensated financially for such a late call off.

Dunfermline Don
Anything other than awarding the game to Saints make a mockery of the whole situation. It would also send a message out to players at other clubs that this is still a serious situation.Too many people seem to think that because some restrictions are lifted then we can just go back to normal.
Steve McQueen
If this game is too be played soon then I would switch this game to Pittodrie & the 2nd and 3rd games at McD when there may be some crowd.
The Real Saints
its just football mate you don't need to emotionally invest yourself What a bizarre take. Everyone is aware of the varying levels of importance in regards to the consequences of the pandemic. There is nothing wrong with pointing out that this particular situation is a hindrance to St Johnstone.

EdTheDuck
3-0 wins for St Johnstone, Hamilton & Celtic would be justice In the case of the Celtic game McInnes will be dancing around the training ground in delight at just 0-3

TonyFerrino
How many games was it the Englishers, and other countries for that matter, managed during the pandemic? Scotland managed one before making a Shereen of it. Awesome. Edited August 7, 2020 by TonyFerrino

By all means hammer Aberdeen but can you justify disadvantaging any other clubs ?

Of course it’s a hindrance if the game is rearranged. We’ll have to squeeze this match into an already tight schedule through the misbehaviour of another team’s players. How on earth could this be viewed as a positive for St Johnstone?

They wouldn't know that particular bar was going to be hoaching with covid. I’m sure I saw somewhere that as part of these “sporting bubbles” that allowed football to resume players were not supposed/allowed to go to the supermarket for their shopping - everything had to be delivered. Now whether or not the clubs and authorities then felt the need to actually spell out or write down for the players “So if you’re not allowed to go to a supermarket it might be a good idea to avoid crowded bars with minimal safety measures and f**k all social distancing“ I don’t know, but I’d like to think they might have had the common sense to work that bit out for themselves. Not just the players btw - anyone in that pub or any other environment like that should hang their fucking head in shame. I'm not saying its a positive, I'm saying is your first post came across as really struggling to find something to worry about. You might as well sit and worry that Callum Hendry breaks his leg or that Ali Mccann moves to Man United. I Not having a go, and like you said this is a football forum so its to be expected. It's just something that as a (fairly casual) st johnstone fan I just wouldn't immediately jump to finding a downside.

There has been no confirmation whether all 8 were out socialising or if this close contact has been as a result of training with 1 or 2 who had chosen to venture out. Anything other than the number of positives and number isolating at the moment is pure speculation. But let's not let facts get in the way of sensationalism, right?

She's been fucking desperate to make an example of Scottish football, she's hates the game. This is her chance and she won't miss. -
