Kenny Miller can talk for 5 minutes about a game without actually saying anything.

He offers no insight or analysis whatsoever.

Could say that about 90% of pundits to be fair.

I dont know how these things get put together but I can only imagine some graduate is tasked with taking notes and talking points on each game* and the pundits just regurgitate the bullet points.

If they actually do watch the games, they surely have to be being told to keep it ultra simple. Because there is no chance all these pundits (EPL ones as well) can be as dull and uninsightful as they all show on a weekly basis.

*they'll obv all huddle round the telly to watch the arse cheeks games.

He also completely misunderstood the last question he was asked about Ross County. He was asked about how crucial their game against Motherwell this week was, and he made a comment about Hibs.

Sounds like the perfect Old Firm minded pundit. Say nothing of any substance, speak in vapid cliche and have a complete disregard for teams not called Rangers and Celtic.

Kenny was never a rocket scientist but it's really sad  to see Michael Stewart operating with a restraining bolt since the ill advised apology from him and the BBC to Traynor and Rangers.

This just popped up as a FB memory from (3rd Oct) 2014 when I got the following screenshot just ahead of their live coverage of Kilmarnock Vs Dundee Utd:

If that's Virgin Media, most of the Dundee/United mix-ups tend to be by them nowadays. Although I'm not sure who controls the image you see like that when listening to Radio on Virgin. If it's Virgin, BBC or a third party like Red Bee Media.

If there's one good thing from VAR it's the increased number of cameras for Sportscene.

Think there was six or seven at Tannadice today (don't know if there was one at the Shed End), same last week.

The camera angles on the 18-yard line really make a difference.

Unless they've changed it. The plan is to only have 6 cameras for VAR at non TV games. Which doesn't suggest me they plan to increase them!

Also, did they just use the radio commentary for the United, Aberdeen game on Sportscene? 🤣

Saturday 3pm games used to only have 4 cameras, or 5 if the Alba game.

The introduction of 18-yard cameras is  a massive improvement.

They did the same last season when we played Aberdeen at 6pm. Probably because of the tight turnaround

Of course, there would be no reason to use the radio coverage if they actually sent TV commentators to the grounds.

Always thought the SPFL would be better off having a World Feed Commentator for the odd 3pm game - so Sportscene and Sky could have used it.

You give sportscene a miss to avoid 110 mins out of 120 pandering to the old firm and the only match analysis they give you is the celtic game from a goals show.  Then decide half way through to just smash in a "Gio" interview in relation to the Liverpool game in the middle of SPFL Prem goals round up.

Watched the wee roundup thing there. Ho hum, but the one thing that really leapt out was the utter desperation of Leanne Crichton not to state openly that Craig Sibbald dived for the DU penalty. He was "clever" apparently. f**k off, that sort of stuff is just cheating.
