Shut up!

The Chinese have learned a thing or two from us. How can they claim thousands of years of civilisation but it never occurred to them to make chips with curry?

Or to come up with cutlery rather than two wee sticks?

Saladin in a jar - a fitness crusade right enough.

Wonder how complicated the "roast beef and cheddar plate" is. Seems intimidating to me.

Get a plate.

Add roast beef and cheddar*

* Feel free to experiment with different types of meat. Or cheese.

So, are you meant to eat the plate as well as some sort of roughage?

I have as much of an idea as you do - I just wish the book had pictures of the food so you could see what looked appetising or not. I don’t have any other cooK books that don’t include pictures. I’m half thinking of writing a negative review on Amazon here.

The science behind losing weight is simple.

Calorie deficiency = weight loss

Calorie surplus = weight gain.

Absolutely this.

Anyone who claims otherwise should probably present themselves at CERN or somewhere like where their non-compliance with the law of thermodynamics can be studied.
