Conspiracy Theories

Recommended Posts

I'm fairly certain that prior to the Act of Union Scottish summers were nowhere near as fucking miserable as they are now. Extremely convenient for Yoons that there's nobody around who witnessed it first hand. My childhood memories of pre-Thatcher scorching hot school summer holidays lend credence to my theory.

So yeah. Doon with this year round yoon dreich shite. I'm sure that when iScotland is finally a thing the weather will generally be a bit warmer, and any assertion that is linked to global warming in any way is clearly just conspiracy nut batshittery.

Nothing about this makes sense.

The last bit does. Cops clearly heard there was a mass shooting going on and decided to retire to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for it all to blow over. That seems to be standard procedure at school shootings, at least. Also, I dunno if security's changed any in the past twenty years, but I'm pretty sure I could've brought 23 firearms to my hotel room in Vegas without difficulty.

Are you thinking that the CIA Manchuria'd all his candidates and something went wrong?

It would be no problem taking loads of suitcases with guns and ammo in them into any hotel I've been to in the UK either. Cops being incompetent isn't new either. I'm struggling to find the conspiracy angle, maybe a nutter doing this fairly simple thing wouldn't fill a hundred page report.

P.S. Ah, getting it now..

It probably doesn't make sense, because it's a load of shit. Police located within the hotel were on the floor below within minutes, but were initially unable to locate the exact position of the gunman and were led to believe there was two shooters.  They made their way to the floor above, just as the shooter just had stopped firing.  This all happened within minutes in one of the largest hotels in the world. I assume the truth doesn't fit the narrative with conspiracy weirdos though.

Also, it would be ridiculously easy to take a large amount of luggage into a Vegas hotel, there's so many entrances and the staff working it would hardly get noticed.

The guy wasn't a nutter prior to that night. There's loads of weird stuff surrounding the incident. The FBI didn't manage to find anything on his laptops, there was never any proper explanation of how he was so rich, he was part owner of a plane that was previously owned by a CIA linked South African mercenary.

Paddock's brother gave interviews after the event questioning the law enforcement narrative and was immediately charged with kiddy porn offences which obviously took him off the telly. The charges were later dismissed.

Paddock's house was burgled during the period where it was considered a crime scene and under the custody of the FBI.

A lot of people are adamant that MBS was there at the time and the day after the shooting was when he did that crackdown where he locked all the other Saudi royals up. All the floors above the room where Paddock was are owned by another Saudi prince who was MBS's main rival. This obviously seems a bit far fetched but loads of eye witnesses reported a gun battle at the airport which officially didn't happen.

He took it up in the service elevator.

He used the service elevator twice, to carry 12 bags in total, which isn't uncommon in Vegas for guest with a large amount of bags.  He also used the guest elevators to 10 bags up to the rooms, not much of a difference really.

The common factor of most conspiracy theories is that they add up all the extraneous coincidences that surround every event to obscure the banally obvious truth of what happened. In this case the main factor was the ability to accumulate so much military grade weaponry and ammo totally legally, that's why the conspiracy theories have emerged from the 2nd ammendment nuts encouraged by the gun lobby. There's another conspiracy theory for you.

Anyone can get all those guns. There is no motive, the incident is anything but banal! It's utterly exceptional and requires an explanation and investigation beyond what the FBI provided.

The stuff about the police not knowing where he was is bullshit. The security guard reported that he had been shot from Paddock's room before the shooting out the window commenced.

My point exactly, that's the story and the reason for the conspiracy theories to divert us from that. Man goes on a colossal gambling binge before ending his life in the most dramatic way he could think of. That's Vegas baby!

How old are these MK Ultra boys if they've been communicating telepathically since the Sixties?

TBH, I've heard worse film ideas than a group of geriatric telepath assassins getting revenge on the government by forcing it to lie about the mass shootings they're committing.

Milton Keynes didn’t even have a football team until Wimbledon relocated there in 2004.

Yet again, more lies. The initial shots were fired out the window and into the crowd. The security guard wasn’t shot until after the first volley going into the crowds below.

Why don’t you just skip to the part where you tell us what you “think” happened.

I'm sure Ian and Dick Campbell had the lead roles in that.

That was the initial account but it later changed to the guard being shot at approximately the same time the shooting began (which means before because there was 10 minutes of constant gunfire).

Quote

Initially, police said security guard Jesus Campos approached Paddock's room as the October 1 shooting was underway, diverting the gunman's attention. Paddock then shot Campos through the door and quit firing at concertgoers at the Route 91 Harvest Festival from his hotel room on the 32nd floor, the timeline said.

Lombardo's timeline from Monday -- that Campos was shot at 9:59 p.m. and the shooting on the crowd started six minutes later -- raised questions about why police didn't make it to Paddock's room sooner to break down the door.

On Friday, Lombardo said Campos arrived near Paddock's suite at 9:59 p.m., but was not shot then. Police Sgt. Joshua Bitsko told CNN that Paddock had screwed shut the stairwell door to the hallway near his room. The security guard went to an upper floor and came back down to the 32nd floor by another door, he sheriff said.

Paddock shot Campos through the door about 10:05 p.m. and began firing on the crowd around then, Lombardo said.

Why they had to readjust the timeline 3 times in the most surveilled place on earth is odd.
