Had a good couple of chances last 10 mins to kill the game off. Hope that we aren’t going to have repeat of last season where we struggle for goals. For a man who had an operation 10 days ago Foley has played brilliantly.

That’s a big three points. Fantastic stuff.

Livi are a good team, a top 6 team, and they came at us second half but I think we deserved to win today.

Defensively we were excellent, Dykes was kept quiet by the two centre halves Shaungessy and McCarthy. Tait was brilliant and got the goal too.

Ground it out toward the end. Goodwin’s got the team so well drilled.

Top 6 Tony? Stop it.

Very one dimensional from us. Our set pieces were utter garbage. McMillan in for Devlin next week, please. 

Stream was very good aside from the commentary being out of sync.

Difficult to be overly critical considering the circumstances but looked honking defensively. From what I seen (not much thanks to the shite stream), the better team won.

Shite start that. Not a lot in it: we hit the post, St Mirren hit the post. The difference being In defending. St Mirren had plenty men in the box to block a good 3-4 shots in the second half. Switching off and letting someone go unchallenged in the box is amateur so we were deservedly punished.

I'd have Efe (our best player today) at RB with Fitz (unless brown is fit) and Guthrie in the middle and ATS on the left. Back to a 4-2-3-1 and play to our strengths. We looked an absolute shadow today. Defence were operating the 2m social distancing for the goal...3 centre backs who don't know each other is a nightmare

Brilliant display from us, it was never going to be pretty, we rolled up the sleeves and put in a hell of a shift. We basically pulled off a Livi on Livi.

Should have been more goals in the game but I think we played Dykes really well today. When he is dropping back to the half way line to get involved you know you are doing something right.

Shaughnessy and Tait? Wow. Very impressed. Big keeper done well near the end too.

Important we picked up something today and the boys delivered.

Terrific result for us as Livi look solid and we’ve got some tough fixtures. Obika good upfront, but the centre backs were terrific, hard to pick one of them for MoM.

We were the better side in the first half, Livi struggled to get support to Dykes. Second half Livi put a lot of pressure on us, until McAllister went off. Livi had some big chances with Forrest then Robinson, but we really should have buried it at the end with Morais and Shaughnessy when they pushed up and left gaps.

Thought the back four all did very well against a tough team, Tait especially. We were really well drilled and timed our attacks well when Livi started to push up but we'll need to be a lot more clinical than that in future games. McGrath's ball for the goal was a peach and MacPherson was really good in the second half.
