Craig Gordon has posted videos of himself on Instagram in the gym, doing leg presses, stretches and on the exercise bikes. How is he at that point after a month? Surprised he's even out a cast just now.

I wouldn't have believed I'd say this after that disaster of a performance in Zurich, but £400k/£600k/whatever it is is a truly laughable figure for Sibbick.

He's always been the kind of player who, if he could put it all together, would skyrocket in value. 6ft3, great recovery pace, strong in the tackle. He's getting better in the ball as well with a superb assist against Aberdeen and a brilliant goal against Hibs.

His recent form might still turn out to be a flash in the pan, but with 2.5 years left on his deal I'd absolutely gamble on him getting better and going for big money.

Still just 23 anaw so can only see him improving in the coming seasons. He's starting to look like the player we saw glimpses of during his brief first spell here under Stendel - in what was an abomination of a Hearts side.

Was listening to The Terrace and their scottish cup roundup and the Hibs fan on that wasn't half giving it the "Hearts got lucky again, it's so unfair" patter.

Tony Anderson is usually reasonable tbf.

Singling out a borderline foul a good 20 or 30 seconds before the goal is standard Hibs stuff though. If you look hard enough to find some reason to feel hard done by then you'll inevitably find something.

Aside from the derbies, two games sum up the difference between Hearts and Hibs this season:

Hearts v Motherwell - Hearts get a soft red card at 0-0 on 35 minutes. They dust themselves down and go on to win the game 3-2, even after having a 2 goal lead pegged back.

Hibs v St Johnstone - Hibs cruising at 1-0 with 20 minutes to go. Magennis gets sent off and they immediately shit the bed and lose 2-1.

What foul? The Devlin challenge? No way that's a foul, he's got his body in between Youan and the ball and just been stronger. Some straw clutching if that's what they are greeting about.

Cammy Devlin's contributions to Shankland's (open-play) goals in both the recent derbies show why we win and they lose.

They bang on about the size of pitches (irrelevant as the record shows), luck, style of play etc, but in both examples Devlin bursts his baws to make sure he wins the fucking ball in a dangerous area and on both occasions we have the quality at the top end to make the most of that.

We've got the combination of hard graft and that bit of quality where it matters. They, on the other hand, are soft as shite and have players who aren't good enough to make the most of spells of pressure they have.

And I fucking love it.

Not only greeting about it, but also greeting about VAR not being able to disallow the goal for it.

I get that "quality of goal" is irrelevant, but imagine how much more egregiously shit VAR would be if it disallowed brilliant goals for the most minor of infractions well before the ball hit the back of the net.

Always a favourite of mine, considering we have won more derbies in their own backyard than they have, and also have an immaculate record against them at Hampden.

Just watched this as well. I genuinely cannot fathom how this is physically possible after a double leg break a month ago?

He's got the exercise bike set at minimum resistance and hopefully he's not pushing much too weight on the leg press but nonetheless this is great progress

His foot was basically facing the wrong way a month ago. It’s genuinely baffling me how this is possible.

That game sums up Porteous against us, tbh, ships at least one goal a game and ill be sad to see him go.

Be fitting if his last act is bottling a header v Stevie May though, who must have only scored a handful of headed goals in his puff.
