Falcor Roar
Can't help but feel our recent troubles are down entirely to us not buying a backup cb. Attacking wise we've got a good squad together but shape comes from the back. Neilson jr looks a find at least.

But the alternative is that huddy Sibbick.

Falcor Roar
If we have to pay out anything for Neilson it'll be chickenfeed for a European group stage club like us. Sibbick is a shit defender. He's probably Better as a backup DM.
KnightswoodBear
Coaching at my wee boys football this morning (2015s) and one of the teams we played was coached by none other than Christian Nade. Thoroughly pleasant guy.
Stylish Kid
In other news, Alex Cochrane has apparently made 50 appearances for us which is really incredible and shows how important he is to the team.

Elixir
If we're still third come the break for the World Cup, we'll be 10+ points clear again by the end of the season.
Stylish Kid
Well, delighted with a 0-3 away, regardless of opposition. But it highlights the gulf between SPFL and Europe - you can miss chances/give up opportunities to the opposition here and you'll get a second chance. IBS didn't give us that luxury ! Anyway, very pleased to be 3rd again. Concerned by our injuries again. I was going to blame my long-held suspicion that we do something wrong, however both sides had players dropping like flies - don't really get what was going on there....

We’re currently on 13 points from 7 a pace that would put us on 61 slightly ahead of last season it’s hard to predict a margin because we don’t know who the team in fourth will be, never mind how many points they’ll have. Maybe somebody in the pack will be able to string a longer run of decent form together than any of them managed last season. Having more money is an advantage, having more games is a disadvantage so you’d expect the two to cancel each other out to some extent in the first half of the season and then for us to pick up pace once the European adventure finally finishes

We arrested our dip in form at just the right time. In hindsight, due to Livi's home record, arguably the only shocker we had was Killie at home in the League Cup, but it was always going to be our fourth and lowest priority anyway. Another run in the Scottish Cup would be nice, but by far the most important thing we can do this season is to wrap up third place again. I can't see anyone outside of the Old Firm winning either of the cups, though again we'd be the most likely.
