That early 90s Adidas Hibs top is probably my favourite non The Caley top.

I can vaguely remember them wearing it when I used to watch Sportscene when I was 6/7.

Can't find an image of it but the 1977 kit, looked not to dissimilar to this one which I think is the 1979 one..

Looked a lot better on and in short sleeves and on a player rather than hanging up.
Nice clean lines, no huge sponsor and was the first time (I think) that we didn't have a massive border around the badge.

It changed when we moved to McDiarmid Park. The summer of 1989.

New stadium, new crest. Was mostly a popular move.  We'd had the one we have now many years previous, the double headed eagle Perthshire emblem.

I think we only got the lamb in around the late 70's/ early 80's anyway so I'm not sure there was too much sentimental attachment.

Strange you have picked a bog standard template kit, I can only presume that embraces early memories and good times ( your old club may or not have been cheating b*****ds at this time but how about one from the new club you support......)

It was close between a couple but this one edges it. The blue Adidas rfc scroll McEwans lager one would be second.
