Spartans academy is covered in snow.  You cant scrape off snow from a 3g pitch as it removes all the black rubber infill with the snow.

So unless you have a lorry with rubber infill on standby,  you need to wait for the snow to melt, which didnt happen.

Further, 3G actually freezes and become a skating rink at about + 1 degrees.  Calling them an all weather pitch is just inaccurate.    The correct term is "plastic shite"

I try not to criticise other teams' playing surfaces. I KNOW how much hard work is put into them.

I struggle, however, when referring to New Dundas Park.

In all the times I have been there, it is almost always a poor playing surface - certainly once it hits the colder weather.

Scottish Cup tie ... surely there must be a requirement for a reasonable playing surface?
