Indeed you did John but Carol was the better player 😀

are we talking surnames, where this guy has superior skill, agility beyond comprehension and the speed of a cheetah?

or are we talking about our Lord and Masters and I should cut this now... quickly? 🙂

I tried not to be a cheetah but I did get away with one handball

I see a post on the EoS forum about the Scottish Cup. The Draw is tomorrow for both preliminary rounds.

26 teams in preliminary round 1. Only 4 teams get picked for TWO preliminary round 1 games (on 28 November) and the other 22 teams get a bye.

Preliminary round 2 features the 22 given a bye + the two winners of the preliminary round 1 games + nearly all the Highland and Lowland League teams....... including the BU's (Total 52 teams). Games on Saturday 12 December 2020.

Those 26 winners then go into the First Round.

Been in the Scottish a couple of times as East Juniors champions. Beat Queens Park 2-1 one season and Elgin City another.
The Elgin games were classics. Manager went 5-5-0 formation up at Elgin to keep it tight and we looked rubbish. Trailing 3-0 at halftime he changed to 4-3-3 and fought back to 4-4 to earn a replay. The replay was another goalfest and ended 5-4. Even big Marvyn Andrews couldn't stop the BU's from banging them in.

Gribben got goal of the round or goal of the competition that year IIRC 🤔

In between those two seasons we had the win at Highland League Fort William and the home victory over Whitehill Welfare, whose fortunes have certainly taken a downturn.

(Dave has seen so much success, he's forgotten we won the League 3 times in 5 years)

Can't really grumble about the draw in that, "on paper" at least, it gives us a decent chance of progression.  Just a shame that circumstances mean we'll miss what might have been a memorable away day, and probably won't be able to see the game at all.  Had a wee look at their Twitter to see if they were broadcasting games on the internet, disnae look like it...and yet they've got the cheek to nickname themselves "the Streamers"!  #tradedescriptions

IF ( and it's a big IF) the Borders were down to Level 1 is there not a chance some neutrals would be admitted to the game. ....... obviously Away fans shouldn't attend but what harm would there be with a few neutrals who happened to be in the vicinity popping in.

excuse my ignorance gents, but is that a possibility, however small?

or just wishful thinking?

Shame theres a couple decent boozers (or there was last time I was there) in the place.

Home Park also got its license when it was a public park.

Presumably the path that was a perimeter at the side of the pitch is closed on a matchday or has been diverted nowadays.

HJ will know the exact geographical features 😏

Home Park is enclosed. Shut to general public during matchdays, including the path between both gates which comprises the side standing area.

Other times you can freely walk around.

Crowds of upto 300 home fans are currently permitted in tier 1 areas: subject to various protocols, and no club is under any obligation to open-up.

Being frank: I'd cool your enthusiasm.
