Daily Dilemma #1

Recommended Posts

OK - let's try this for size - post a vexing matter which is causing you consternation, something with a straight choice between two options, and let the P&B cognoscenti  weigh in with their considered opinions until consensus is arrived at - no more than 24 hours for each 'topic'

for starters: you have a fixed budget of let's say £1000.00 to spend on your weekend's entertainment at a secluded retreat of your choosing

are you going for:

a) cheap supermarket canned lager, vin de plonk and the most luscious, sensual escort imaginable

b) the very finest beers and wines that money can buy, and a dirty old slapper

there is no third way - it's one or t'other....

Don't know who you've been speaking with, but my rates start well upwards of £1000.

So the options are paying for the favours of a woman you find attractive, or uncoerced sex with a woman that you don't?

Can I just drink until neither of these miserable scenarios is possible?

With a thousand quid to spend, I'd book Mrs WRK and the two (currently) resident Rosetees a wee weekend break with spending money for a trip to the nearest Meadowhall/Metro/Lakeside monstrosity, and take the dog for a couple of good long walks before relaxing in front of some quality films where I don't have to know "what's he been in?" or "why are they doing that" every five fucking minutes.

Peace and quiet - massively under-rated, but surprisingly scarce for something which should be free.

It's been a long few months...
