Dundee Utd v St Johnstone

Just now, Steve McQueen said:

That's not a yellow

It doesn't matter. If you're on a yellow you don't go into a tackle late.

First test for Davidson. How to deal with a walking red card and whether you have the bollocks to recognise that and change it, and hes failed.

It probably wasn't but it was stupid nevertheless.

Agreed, but you can’t book a guy for being exuberant when he’s not touching folk or committing fouls. Has it been coming, yes he was like playing with a man down anyway, but it’s not exactly brilliant refereeing by Clancy. Not that anyone expected that after his media comments.

Abysmal first half from St Johnstone. United haven't looked troubled at all. St Johnstone look all over the place at the back, non-existent midfield and an attacking force that is making Connolly look competent AND using a play style that's letting him play it about at the back. Sending off has pretty much killed the game unless St Johnstone can change absolutely everything about that first half.

United playing reasonably well. Few decent moves forcing Parish into work but haven't really needed to get out of second gear so far.

Abysmal half.

A bunch of players with no idea of the system they're meant to be playing, was half expecting it but this has been way worse than I expected. Was obviously early on but the manager seems committed to it, so here we are.

MOH being sent off has fucked us though. A CB now needs to come off and a winger on or we'll spend another 45 minutes doing f**k all in the final third.
