You talk some amount of pish and I know I shouldn't bite but still.

Between ‘neverendum’, ‘authoritarian’ ‘cancel’ and ‘snowflakes’ I think this research for a forthcoming book ‘101 Buzzwords To Make You Sound Unhinged’ rather than serious posting .

Can I add “the SNP aren’t getting on with the job” and, for the hell of it, “DELIBERETE” (which just makes me imagine Georges Foulkes and Galloway trying to out-drunkenly-rant each other).

Authoritarian crackpot supports SNP...there's a surprise.

You do know that nazis and communists were on opposite sides right ? And this was all 70 years ago and that weirdo is dead now right ?

But I mean, if that sort of stuff bothers you, crackpots giving support to  authoritarian regimes, you should maybe check out what the royal family and the British government have been up to for the last few decades.

Or they'll vote against the Union because they don't have a pension, don't have any savings and can't get a mortgage due to the low wage economy and have nothing to lose.

The majority have something to lose and independence won't do anything for the have nots. If anything it's going to push up the cost of living and slash already poorly managed public services.

Didn’t and doesn’t stop you being an ardent, anti-EU, pro-independence UK nationalist. Maybe the people of Scotland will have had enough of your dire warnings as much as you had had enough of experts when you decided independence from the EU was the way forward.

The economics  and the SNP's track record of incompetence/financial irregularities make the case against nationalist independence.

Presumably the UK Government's shocking record of massive corruption, racism and deceit makes the case against the union then.

Don't get me started on the Scottish government's record of incompetence and corruption

It's a neverendum in the sense that rather getting on with the job and running the country the SNP administration has been running a scorched earth policy of running the country into the ground and blaming Westminster; in a deliberete attempt to engineer another referendum.

It's entirely normal and legitimate to have a referendum once in generation.

Trawl through the government publications for the past Parliament and if you genuinely believe they haven't been "getting on with the job" seek professional help as you appear to have a serious cognitive deficiency.

Why have a referendum once in a generation? It's such a wooly time frame that means absolutely nothing.

It's the mark of a good troll who can derail a thread to the extent that I'd forgotten that this was, in fact, the George Galloway thread.

Well played Terry.

To be fair, it was a little bit like having George Galloway actually posting for a while - if Galloway went on a crystal meth binge and started banging his face into a keyboard.

Well played Terry.

Once I remembered that the bass player of Adam & the Ants was Gary Tibbs as opposed to Terry it all made more sense

They've been getting on with a job but the job they've been doing is running services into the ground and making us the sickman of Europe.
