Yes. Though it seems police won't press charges. Queen of the South facing action from SFA though. Galloway will use anyone to promote George Galloway and leave them in the shit. So aye, I could imagine 'Free Palestine, Free George' slogans if he were charged plus another wordy rant about 'dictator Sturgeon'. https://www.thenational.scot/news/18973063.police-scotland-looking-into-george-galloways-queen-south-visit/

Of course he has, otherwise he wouldn't have tweeted about it. He'll be furious if the police don't pursue it. Quote Former Respect MP and Alliance 4 Unity founder George Galloway, claimed on Twitter he would cross the border on Monday. Challenging the First Minister, he added: “I’m crossing it on Monday. Sturgeon won’t stop me.” Nobody noticed if he did, so he had another try.
Richie
Galloway is the definition of a career politician. When I was younger I used to agree with him on a few things, but over time its become apparent that his contrasting views on similar issues are contradictory, inconsistent and therefore lack credibility. He aligns himself with whatever cause he thinks will gain him publicity. He'd be all for Scottish Independence if he thought he'd be at the forefront of it. Really creepy hill to die on and this bit reads like "ha gotcha you were the ripe old age of 16 *and a half* when you were forced into a marriage not 15, checkmate" Galloway said: “You claimed – and gullible journalists believed you – that you were subject to a forced marriage at the age of 15. But you were not 15, you were 16 and a half. I have your nikah in my pocket.”

I used to listen to his radio programme back in the day and it used to be a good listen. He used to have so much he passionately believed in - his campaigning against George Bush and the Iraq War and was very progressive on things like gay marriage, immigration and was so pro-EU he claimed he wanted his children to grow up in a 'United States of Europe'. He also used to refer to UKIP as 'the BNP in better suits'. I remember him also being delighted when the SNP got in originally and referred to Alex Salmond as a friend. Since then he seems to have gone bonkers which seems to have correlated around the time he started wearing a fedora constantly. I do remember him calling at one point for Grand Theft Auto to be banned and he seemed very conservative on drug legalisation - particularly cannabis. Look at him now and he's like a different person. Screaming about Nicola Sturgeon, who's really a fairly middle of the road centre-left liberal politician, as a dictator is pretty pathetic (she doesn't even have a majority!). Alliance for Unity aren't going to get anywhere. They'll be fighting it out for best of the weirdos with the Independence 4 Scotland Party, Wings Over Scotland and the Scottish Christians Party. It is weird what's happened to him over the past 20 years. He used to be someone I quite liked but he's just become an angry, nasty wee man. I know it's easy to point to attention-seeking and I'm absolutely sure that's a big part of it. He seems to be happy to identify a crowd and play up to it, no matter what crowd it is or how demented and vindictive they are.

His performance at the senate was outstanding. He used to be so passionate about what he believed in and many of those beliefs were from a genuinely good place. Now though he's become a caricature of everything he used to stand against. Perhaps had he retired ten years ago and disappeared from the public eye, history would've been kind to him. Now though he'll be remembered as a complete has-been who could barely manage to gather 1,000 votes.

Crùbag
George Galloway, former socialist, now asking people to vote Tory. Will be glad to see the back of this cretin once he loses in the Holyrood elections then sleeks off back to London to find some other publicity magnet to attach to himself.

He hasn't even got the quality control to get it right. Agnes Robertson! His arithmetic isn't too hot either. For Glasgow Southside, all the unionist votes together didn't come close to Nicola in 2016. All this low rent stuff aside, he's advocating a very dangerous partisan scenario and that is nothing but bad news. Thank goodness his political credibility is long gone.
