I've seen some people still reference February and i'm not involved in the licencing process with a club to have first hand knowledge. You may well know more about that than I do. All I know is that it was the original intended date for that.
Ginaro 1,814 Report post Posted October 11, 2020 (edited) 2 hours ago, Wile E Coyote said: Genuine question- How many of the teams taking part have a realistic chance of being licensed by February next year Clydebank if they get their cover and some other rooms sorted. Kilwinning if they get their floodlights and cover up. Darvel if they throw money at it and quickly get floodlights etc. Auchinleck with the lights must be close. Do they expect these fans to simply return and hand over cash to them when they are struggling ?

superpollok 510 Report post Posted October 11, 2020 To balance that out, how many of the clubs that are taking a year out consulted with their fans.Kilbirnie certainly did And one of the prominent posters on here who is a member of the Pollok committee canvased opinion on the Pollok forum prior to him participating in a committee meeting. So that’s 50% of the prem clubs that pulled out that have asked fans opinions I am sure AT and Cumnock would have got some feedback too.
superpollok 510 Report post Posted October 11, 2020 Can someone from Glenafton Athletic tell us if we're in or out!Absolute shambles!!! I assume you are in, as I am sure your manager was annoyed on Twitter about the point getting made by clubs like Pollok that the decisions are made with the wellbeing of the players in mind, him feeling that was implying those who are playing are not taking their wellbeing into account.
clash city rocker 836 Report post Posted October 11, 2020 1 hour ago, gogsy said: Thanks for answering. Yes Pollok's statement says they did. So thats 2 out of 14 confirmed. It wasn't having a go at any club that didn't consult with fans, more that clash city rockers post seemed to imply that the ones that didn't and were still going to play were the bad guys here. Thats 50+ clubs committees, who I'm guessing will have had a lot of experience in running their own club. Mate aye am astonished that clubs never consulted fans especially at this level where gate money and fan fundraising is crucial. Perhaps am just used to it at Kilbirnie , decisions like leaving juniors or joining the once proposed Eas t/West SuperLeague were discussed by committee and supporters. Ladeside would never make a monumental decision like this without fan input. If clubs can continue and survive without fans then how can clubs later on plead poverty and expect their fans to dig deep to help them. All about respect.
