Sancho Panza
Hope common sense prevails tomorrow night and early shouts made re the weather. Let's not have folk travel then call offs at last minute.

Wondered about that. Some of the games I’ve been at this season the benches have looked huge. Can’t be easy for the referees without linesman to be looking at 22 on the pitch and potentially another 26 on the sidelines

glensmad
All of the clubs have been given the option by the league to postpone the games to next week, but both teams have to agree to the switch.

Some dugouts this season have had a lot more than that, however there is no real way to police it.

Surely the league should step in and just cancel all the games? With the high winds forecast up to 90mph the safety of the fans must come first. Asking fans to travel in those type of winds would be ludicrous and extremely unsafe

Asking fans to travel in those type of winds would be ludicrous and extremely unsafe That was considered, however it was decided that the decision would be to offer the clubs postponements and rearranging to next Wednesday if they so desired, as a blanket postponement of all ties may cause issues for clubs which the league were not aware of, e.g. hospitality packages sold, pitch availability next week, player availability next week etc. Most teams have taken the opportunity to postpone. At the moment the only match still on tonight is Darvel v Beith Juniors.

I know all these things have to be taken into consideration but fan and player safety must be the priority, if the Darvel v Beith game does go ahead i certainly won't be going. as i think it is too dangerous to travel, and i know plenty others that feel the same.
Talbot supporter
Think the games at the weekend could be in doubt too when you see the forecast for Friday

Given the forecast they should call it off.

Shanner
It's getting interesting at the top and the end of this season is just about beginning to feel close. Talbot and Darvel can close in on Pollok if they win in midweek then it's Darvel v Pollok next weekend which gives Talbot the change to gain ground on at least one of them against a struggling Irvine Meadow. the bottom end is no less interesting but very hard to sum up in a sentence in the same way.
