How far off are Beith from having a LL compliant ground and are they currently working towards this?

Floodlights ground wise. Potentially other things. Don't recall seeing anything about them fundraising or announcing their intentions.

No telltale signs on their website regarding Policy documents. Which probably means plenty to do behind the scenes as well.

It's not just the stadium that needs to be licence compliant. In fact the vast majority of the Licensing clauses have no relation whatsoever to stadium facilities. That is a fact that is very often underestimated.

...no doubt true but if Beith don't have floodlights yet and no plans to install them along with any other necessary ground improvements any time soon that's all academic anyway in this particular case and the big winners from that would probably wind up being Lithgae Rose in the east. Why the EoS and SoS signed off on the idea that only league champions can ever qualify for the playoff is mindboggling. It wasn't going to be that way initially. The original plan was highest placed licensed club from each feeder would qualify.

Is there something in the licensing standards regarding being able to draw a straight line from the penalty spot at one end and it meeting the crossbar at the other?

I've not been to Beith but I've been to Lochee Utd a few years ago. 😆

Beith are absolutely flying.

What would happen if they were they win the league as they’re unlicensed? Would they be allowed in the LL?

No, they wouldn't be allowed if unlicenced. They've got to have it signed off before the LL Playoff.

Happy to hear that!
