we are coming up on the blind side no telling the miners when we are playing ha , always amuses me to hear talbot fans moaning about a team that has gave so much back to the community over the years and will never be equalled let alone bettered anywhere else , ive seen all the top teams this season several times as ive picked my games on a saturday and if you were to pick a wos select certainly big leishman would be in it , arguably the 2 central defenders would be also , glasgow , boylan , samson and wilson any other club would in the league would take the 4 of them albeit graham imo is far better player to talbot playing up top , but thats 7 top players and if the rest arent up to their standards its no a big surprise and i get the midfield dont create a helluva lot but they must be doing a good job in other ways or they wouldnt be at a club like talbot playing week in week out , be greatful for what you have got , it wont last forever but ive been saying that for near on 40 years now !!

Aside from Andy25 are probably Darvel supporters with Talbot screen names

Largs will be disappointed as they could have been out of sight first half but darvel dug deep and a couple of deflections went their way but second half performance they prob deserved it , mick went for it when a defender got injured and brought on a striker and great to see craig Moore get the winner , a goal scorer is always in the right place and u never lose that

Pie man not happy about fixtures

He may have a point but let's not forget it was his threat of legal action that forced the increase to 20 teams hence 38 game season.

PS £12k would buy a couple of decent drains :)

What does he think should happen? Someone posted a table earlier in the week and they have had loads of games off.

That table was slightly misleading in that it also included games postponed because of rearranged fixtures. Not just games off because of pitch condition/Covid etc.

It should (IMO) just have included games scheduled to start on a Saturday/Wednesday but then for whatever reason didn't.

Ah I see, but there success in the SC along side other postponments would always catch up with you.

According to the official version on here it was something about the SFA only being able to deal with one league.

No mention on here of any legal action at the time.

Don't suppose the well known regulars on here would like to explain this?

I personally think they have had a lot of bad luck with weather , drainage problems to there park being a separate problem.

I will state one thing

they will not win any league with that goalkeeper he is shocking, he is rooted to his line, no idea what happened for the first goal & he palmed a save last night in acrobatic fashion that he could have chested the ball down or caught the ball, if he kicks it out the park once he kicks it out 4out of 5 times, Talbot will not need to be playing well to beat darvel next week as for me darvel in last 3 games have been way off it! There picking up more & more key players injured & the squads capitulating, leaving the dross getting starts / game-time!

Please don’t use the term “dross”
