Lokloyal
And the pitch dimensions are fine-there are quite a number of West and other non league clubs with pitches smaller than Newlandsfield.
South_Pride
Pollok are incredibly well run and financially watertight. Every penny spent on wages is generated by the club, totally self sustainable. Ex manager McInally has done a few interviews recently pointing out that the budget isn’t the biggest at the level. That’s about as good a source as you can get for it.

Imagine them winning the league, there's one's on here who would take a fecking multi meltdown. Our next two league games are Meadow away and your team at Home. Those games will likely shape any realistic thoughts on us challenging you for the title. I am not sure if our level of consistency is good enough to challenge Talbot, you don’t drop many points and are good at getting out of tricky situations (2-0 down win 3-2 etc) but I certainly expect us to be in the top 4. We have a few young players in the team which makes a nice change as we have had previous managers who seemed to think signing 30+ players was the way to go. The younger players alongs side some established players at this level have us playing well, and lots of energy in the side.

paul-r-cfc
No, minimum for entry level is 90x56m and theirs seems to be about 93x58 or so going by Google maps. Would only prevent them from being promoted above League 1. As for floodlights, other clubs with buildings that close have installed lights over the past few years so it should be possible. Would be interesting to know (from someone connected with Pollok) how much work is needed to meet the requirements for the dressing rooms, WCs, disabled facilities, first aid room, etc. Suppose winning the league and qualifying for the Scottish Cup would help with funding...Money wise, Pollok have a significant sum of the money required for licensing already and have done for several years. Even after a year of no home games, we are in a relatively decent financial position given the circumstances. In terms of what we need, floodlights and toilets are the big one. Toilets issue will be addressed imminently and work is being done on the floodlights. As you've said, I'd be surprised if we were denied permission for lights. Beyond that, it's mostly admin stuff as well as things like new goals, a disabled shelter etc. Reasonably confident of being licensed by the AGM.

paul-r-cfc
Don't underestimate the "admin stuff". Know it's not all a formality but if the floodlights and bogs get ticked off then by hook or by crook, I'd expect us to get the rest done.
