The Famous Aberdeen’s European (Tour?) 2020

I thought Aberdeen had posted some decent highlights when I saw a 6 minute video posted on YouTube.

Sadly it's one of those "arty" type videos where they use the worst possible angles for any match action and include pointless clips of not much happening while using some atmospheric instrumental music.

Does anyone know the real reason for these videos to exist? Is it to give a Gray's School of Arts student some work experience?

I remember Sportscene went through a spell of doing this for one game a week a few years back. It's fine as a wee feature in addition to normal highlights (for example on Sunday Sportscene after the proper highlights have been on the night before), but not as your primary source of showing the game.

They must have seen highlights from the game yesterday.

Gives us an unbelievable chance anyway

If it is called off, we won’t know until Thursday when the squad are already there

Could always ask Ryan Gauld what their reserves are like, he must play against them regularly.

Was looking at Sporting Lisbon newspaper  and they mentioned they have had whole squad tested twice and results have been negative for all players in this camp. Looked at the list of players missing and it doesn't look many first team players missing.

Sporting fit to go to match with Aberdeen:
Covid-19 tests all negative

Sporting is ready to go to the game against Aberdeen tomorrow, the third qualifying round of the Europa League. According to Record , the results of the Covid-19 tests performed yesterday by players, technical staff and staff were all negative, for the second time.

The team trained this morning in Lagos and travels to Lisbon today.

PUB: The idea of the Leo officials in creating a 'bubble' in the Algarve - where the team headed a week ago in order to stop the contagion chain in Alcochete - has thus had an effect, since since then there has only been one more positive case (João Straw). The midfielder, remember, joined 11 other previously identified elements: goalkeepers Maximiano and Renan; defenders Eduardo Quaresma, Gonçalo Inácio and Borja; middleweight Rodrigo Fernandes and Pote; the forward Nuno Santos; a staff member; the clinical director João Pedro Araújo; and coach Rúben Amorim.

Sporting ends today the work week in Lagos, where the team has been working since last Wednesday, specifically at Cascade Resort, which in August had already received the lions' internship.

Thus, and after a morning training session that marked the farewell of the South of the Country, the delegation will return to Lisbon and spend the night in a hotel in the capital, which in any case should remain the lions safe until the game with the P. Ferreira, scheduled for Sunday. Above all, those responsible intend with this strategy to avoid the Alcochete Academy, where some of the players who showed positive to Covid-19 live there.
