Really think that the rulers will relax the dressing room restrictions to allow games to carry on during the winter months. As we are all football fans then I guess everyone is helping on donate a ticket, streaming games etc - or just sitting back waiting for everything to go wrong (while they visit the pub of course)  Expect most players were just glad to get back on the park ,playing the game they love. The pessimists must be a joy to live with (not just on here)

That's a bloody shame that. Club obviously wanted to have a go at it as well.

I've obviously missed the reason for the change happening. Was it just done to even the numbers up regardless of geography?

The WoSFL leadership ain't interested in anything outside of the top league.

You are dammed if you do and dammed if you don't.  Kennie people fail to look at the situation from other teams positions. They are only interested in their own. League C is down to ten.  More to follow ?time alone will tell

Conferences would've been 11-15-13 when the batch of teams withdrew at the initial deadline, so they had to be reshuffled. Going with geography inevitably means the league wouldn't be balanced with each other, which is the point of conferences.

I came to same conclusion as @FairWeatherFan when looking at the conferences on a map - if all clubs decided to keep playing, you'd have an Ayrshire league of 13, Central league of 17 and a Glasgow/west league of 17. Balancing those numbers means Arturlie and Neilston would need to join the Ayrshire league so that introduces more travel for someone else.

Even if you regionalised it after those eight clubs pulled out you'd have an Ayrshire league of 9, plus Johnstone Burgh and Neilston, which club do you pull into that league next?

So Let's all blame the WoSFL for the pandemic.  Sorry but that is absolute drivel !!!  Trying to keep up with Government changes, and the new "spike" throughout the UK, is a nightmare for football, and for sport in general.  At least the WoSFL is underway, which is more than can be said for the Highland League at the moment.

According to the WoSFL fixture list, and removing Dalry Thistle, (only)16 of the 57 West clubs, have withdrawn for this season.  There may well be more clubs leaving, as the season progresses. But at least, the new league, and 41 of its clubs, are prepared to give it go.

If the season is completed, where will the clubs who haven't participated this season, be slotted in for season 2021/22 ?  Would this mean another season of conferences at tier 7 for 2021/22 ? What will be decided regarding relegation from, and promotion to, the Premier Division ?  Plenty of scope for differing views on this forum.

Kennie needs to develop a thicker skin and just get on with doing a good job rather than jumping on social media every time something happens.

Think you need to keep up mate …… already been decided only promotion that may happen is the winner of Premier league being promoted to Lowland league if there licensed.

All the clubs that are not playing slot back into either the Premier league or conference that they abstained from.

This is where I think the decision to play on is a financial disaster for these clubs.

I agree with this, and I do think he is doing a great job in tough circumstances but wish he would ignore the flak and get on with it. I know that can be tough but I don’t think it looks good for the league.
