Best of luck to Darvel,Buffs,Maryhill  and who ever else joins in  playing meaningless stop start games in front of nobody.

If they can get licensing approval like Bo'ness did last season, there is a promotion place to the LL potentially on the line this season. There's also likely to be scope for promotion for conference level teams as well for the teams that do proceed. It's highly unlikely that the new cases curve won't have passed through a peak and started to decline significantly well before the end of the season, so getting fans back is not mission impossible.

The indications are with reduced numbers in the leagues there will be no promotion or relgation and clubs withdrawing will do so without penalty, hence the term' meaningless games '

Wonder if all the teams firing ahead actually consulted with their supporters?

So what happens if 11 clubs withdraw from the Premiership and 7, 6 & 9 clubs withdraw from Conference A, B & C ?

Do they still go ahead? Do they re-jig the Conferences. If there is no penalty for withdrawing, no promotion or relegation and no indication of fans being allowed in at any point......what motivation is there for a club to start the season?

Perhaps those who want to start with the current restrictions can enlighten us?

An obvious reason for the delay is that the politicians didn't realise that EoS, WoS and SJFA clubs have players on the same professional registration forms that SPFL clubs use.

Is the implication of this statement thst "Tier 6" should be treated differently than clubs within the Conference structure?

Doubt it. By extension once one division of WoS is OK to go the rest should be too as the same argument applies on what is "professional".

From day one when reconstruction was talked about it was as clear as mud that it was a us and them situation and nothing has changed .

The SJFA was on non-professional board, as was EoS and SoS before the WoSL was created. Been that way for a few years now.
