So the working mans club Auchinleck Talbot are saying 'due to high demand ' they will be selling season tickets with no refund when things are very unlikely to kick off this season.

Utter disgrace from a club who have benefited most from supporters money over the years.  Blatantly playing on peoples heart strings with morals been thrown out the window.

So what if so called high demand ever thought of saying no we need to do the right thing here and give some respect to fans rather than using them giving nothing back.

Most supporters will see it as a donation to the club.

The virus will still be here in February/March. It will also still be here in 2022.

It's time to adapt or die. It really is that simple for the semi pro game.

More pressure needs applied to the government around letting crowds back in at that level. They love to quote ''the science'' when it suits their agenda. How many outbreaks have happened in an outdoor environment were social distance measures have been in place?

"Suits their agenda"?

Put the tin foil hat down.  You say "adapt or die", but your suggestion seems to be that everyone else adapts, and not football.

Lower league football is not high on the government agenda.  Accept that.

Now clubs should take your advice and adapt - be that postponing, cancelling, or otherwise finding a way to operate.

Hoping that the authorities 'see sense' is not a plan.  Take your own advice, and promote adapting.

Interesting to see the apparent abrupt U-turn from Nicola Sturgeon on the circuit breaker. Looks like she received a lot of negative feedback over that as floating it in the media rather than announcing it straight away is all about gauging the reaction first. Hopefully football doesn't feature in any of the token set of measures that will be implemented as the way to still be seen to be doing something when the reality is that they are really not and are basically just hoping things peak soon for herd immunity reasons.

Still think the only way to restart IS with fans, albeit with restrictions say max 300 crowds distanced of course. Lockdown=loss of jobs=less £ into gov coffers =crumbling economy , but at least the cases may be reduced, which is all they're after. Totally screwed up guidelines, contradictory  , a rudderless ship with Captain Boris and Bosun Sturgeon at the wheel ⚔️

Not sure I am reading into this too much but the article mentions that Ian Maxwell thinks that ‘professional football’ will continue even if there is further restrictions. Maybe it’s more but it gives me a bad feeling and after Ireland’s announcement yesterday that they are only continuing with professional/elite sport and stopping everything else maybe that’s what’s coming in Scotland which will be disappointing imo.

Fans to return 'much sooner' than six months - Scottish FA chief https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54440585

Very interesting zoom call last night on the league restarting with all the clubs views , debates and discussions. No matter what happens with the vote on Friday there will be no winners as it’s all about trying to make sure all clubs survive the current situation. Meeting got off to a good start when there was a mention about a Lawyer . Enough said ?

At least the" no penalty" point was clarified, allows clubs to make their own decisions.

What does that look like? Run First Division Conferences again for 2021-22 instead of going to the 4 tier approach originally planned (Premier-1st-2nd-3rd)? No relegation from the Premier Division?

Seems a sensible approach and the fairest for any teams who can’t compete without fans.

Anyone care to clarify the lawyer part of the meeting?

Whilst you are right to a degree, in my view anyway, you are missing a trick in that it takes time to adapt and many clubs may not be able to change quickly enough without some adaptations by the SFA and the Scottish Government. It works both ways you know!

Pathetic from kilwinning , no surprise though this club have been a joke for years no doubt thinking once again they are 'pioneers '

You fire ahead  playing in front of nobody,  streaming to a tiny handful of hardcore fans,  in a half baked cup with clubs originally in it missing in a half baked league with numerous teams missing and no fans or hospitality nothing and the players catching hypothermia all for a game of football.

Absolute shambles.

Another example Maryhill players playing for nothing totally diluting the clubs history and status,  now a amateur team for the foreseeable future. Another club thinking they are being smart and innovative when in reality they are just totally devaluing what they were and are supposed to be now in status.
