"Further meetings are scheduled for tiers 5 and 6 of the Scottish football pyramid early next week."

Have they forgotten about tier 7 ?

Sounds to me like tiers 5 & 6 are not back to normal from Monday

Training wise it all seems fine. They can only wrangle so many reps for conference calls at any one time, and the different league bodies are going to have different types of questions. I'm maybe being an optimist in thinking they've just ran out of time to do it all this week.

Some leagues down South are saying 'home' players turn up changed - away team have both changing rooms, socially distanced. The 30 number was used by the FA, must have been a loophole to include family members - that's why clubs got hammered with crowds of 100+ turning up. Quite a bit of cleaning work to be done by clubs to meet newest FA guidelines, hope volunteers turn up !

Checked the SWPL  website, clubs have done the risk assessments prior to training and playing, all looks basic cleaning, signage, one way systems along with pub style arrangements for the clubhouses. Think the majority of clubs have returned the forms, ahead of a busy September fixture list. Worth checking the leagues website for covid19 latest.

See the East Region SJFA secretary publically asking clubs to stop announcing friendlies. EoS did this last week or so too. Anything from WoS on that?
Yes, the WoSFL clubs were all asked by email on 11th August to refrain from advertising friendly matches.

Seeing as they're being tested when games start, don't see the non league getting the go-ahead just yet. Hopefully there will be very few cases when the friendlies take place, positive news. Think if we can test temps and wear masks, use the cleaning stuff at grounds, and be distanced in the ground, it'll be ready for restart.

George Grierson seems one of the sensible ones:

George Grierson says he has serious concerns that the West of Scotland League season can start safely.

And the worried Whitletts boss insists he won't hesitate to walk away from football if the powers-that-be can't give realistic assurances that non-league clubs will be able to cope with new Covid-19 guidelines.

Grierson says he's far from happy with the amount of information clubs have been given regarding what protocols players, coaching staff, officials and fans will be expected to follow in the forthcoming campaign.

And he reckons he's not the only manager to have grave reservations as the clock ticks down on a proposed October 10 restart.

And neither can you run football clubs without complying with what SFA demand. Everything so far has been aimed specifically at SPFL divisions, yet there are pub teams in SAFA rubbing their hands with glee at playing games within the fortnight. Utterly deluded. Until SFA spell out how football can function at this level, it will not happen, no matter what they allow. You can go to the theatre as of 15/8 (in England anyway) but none can meet the criteria to do so. Same will apply to football clubs up here unless things slackened.
