Playing devil's advocate here - It also means the SNP get a far bigger percentage of the Scottish seats in the UK parliament than their votes merit, so depending upon your view on independence (i.e. against) it could be deemed a disaster for Scottish voters as well.

The credibility of the SNP is based on their strength in the Scottish Parliament.

I agree.  Theresa May always looked threatened by the DUP but I don't think Cameron ever felt threatened by Clegg.  They just sat there together with big smiles.  I am surprised they were not holding hands.

The funniest bit from Cameron’s book is when Clegg told him and Osborne that the Lib Dem’s were going to support tuition fee increases and Osborne apparently straight up told Clegg that it was a bad idea and they shouldn’t do that. Have to laugh at how horrendous the LDs are at PR.

Aye, but realistically speaking, whether Scotland sends 50 odd SNP, Labour or Tory MPs to Westminster tends to make f**k all difference anyway.

I clicked on that because I didnt know who the Lib Dem leader was these days and now that I’ve learnt it’s Sir Ed Davey, I’m still none the wiser.

He lost out to Swinson last time. That's his level.
