He would like Scott Brown to join him , one good thing the last few years is we have got the dads army feel the squad had under strachan out the way.

However we should not be turning the clock back and allowing players to dip in and out as they feel like it.

Snodgrass never offered much anyway he will be 33 by the time of the finals next year .

While I think his time is up after his daft wee huff about not getting a game, this is absolute nonsense. Snodgrass was one of our best players for about an 18 month spell, and won the national team player of the year award twice.

He won it for a hat Trick against Malta I believe .

You either want to play or you don't. Playing for the national team is an honour and not something you do when it's convenient. He can do one.

Nonsense.  If it wasn’t convenient, nobody would play international football.  He had well publicised reasons for not going, anyway.

It's not nonsense. If you let one or two pick and choose, you send a message out to the rest. Unless it's in utterly exceptional circumstances, it should be the end of it when you walk out.

Why?  Nobody else is forced to work extra shifts for no extra pay, taking weeks away from their family.   It’s emotive nonsense that somehow a football player needs to be bestowed with some kind of altruistic spirit.

And Snodgrass’s mother had a stroke.

That was a completely separate situation to him walking out on the squad in a huff after he didn't get picked for the San Marino game.
You don't know that. Perhaps promises were made and not kept. Not that that exonerates him for walking out.

Player throws a wobbly because hes desperate to play for Scotland and isnt getting the opportunity.

Scotland fans - "HE HATES HIS COUNTRY! BURN HIM!"

While Snodgrass has been a quality player in the past, it does seem to be forgotten that prior to taking the huff for not being picked he'd started two games running and was the worst player on the park in both of them, with obviously superior players sitting on the bench. He shouldn't be getting into squads now because he isn't good enough.
