Some additional clubs have expressed interest in joining for 2021/22, including some clubs labelled (provis) as they have not yet been elected into the EoS. Perhaps this list can be used as a basis for next season's entries? It has been mentioned that Edinburgh City may withdraw if they get their Reserve side into the EoS. Of course, it remains to be seen which clubs enter and which don't. Blackburn United Edinburgh University Leith Athletic Bonnyrigg Rose Gala Fairydean Rovers Lothian Thistle HV Camelon Juniors Glenrothes Musselburgh Athletic Civil Service Strollers Heriot-Watt University Penicuik Athletic Dalkeith Thistle Hill of Beath Hawthorn Preston Athletic Dunipace Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts Sauchie East Fife Jeanfield Swifts Spartans FC Edinburgh City Kelty Hearts Tynecastle Edinburgh South Kennoway Star Hearts University of Stirling Edinburgh United Kirkcaldy & Dysart Whitehill Welfare Possible additions for 2021/22: Bathgate Thistle (provis) Berwick Rangers Craigroyston Fauldhouse United (provis) Livingston United (provis) Newtongrange Star Oakley United Stirling Albion I don't understand where Bathgate, Fauldhouse and Livingston will find the players to build 3 teams from scratch. I would predict only Fauldhouse from that group.

Dev
There seems to be potential for more clubs to add Under 20's Development sides in the West Lothian area. Looking at the 2019/20 Under 19's of the Forth Valley League and the 20/21 Under 19's section of the West Lothian League there's: Bo'ness United Community FC, Syngenta Grange and Syngenta Juveniles, Armadale Thistle and Bathgate Thistle with teams and there's East Calder CFC which has teamed up with Livingston United.
Burnieman
League will start on Friday 16th July, and Conferences will be announced in June.

Im gonna have to disagree with you about those teams finding lads, I believe each team will find players easily as the development league has sparked huge interest from all lads across the central belt from U19s, U17s, U16s etc.., most now want to get into this level as they see its a chance to step up. Each team may be at different level, yes of course but its about developing players and is an ongoing future thing so some year a team will be strong, sometimes not. Even teams who are close to each other, location wise, will still find players, its just how the team operates to find the players / advertising / Academies etc... What do we know in regards to new teams joining the Development league from the EOSFL side Current teams in the league Blackburn United Edinburgh University Leith Athletic Bonnyrigg Rose Gala Fairydean Rovers Lothian Thistle HV Camelon Juniors Glenrothes Musselburgh Athletic Civil Service Strollers Heriot-Watt University Penicuik Athletic Dalkeith Thistle Hill of Beath Hawthorn Preston Athletic Dunipace Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts Sauchie East Fife Jeanfield Swifts Spartans FC Edinburgh City Kelty Hearts Tynecastle Edinburgh South Kennoway Star Hearts University of Stirling Edinburgh United Kirkcaldy & Dysart Whitehill Welfare Possible additions for 2021/22: Bathgate Thistle (provis) Berwick Rangers Craigroyston Fauldhouse United (provis) Livingston United (provis) Newtongrange Star Oakley United Stirling Albion Armadale Thistle (confirmed) The teams in bold, which ones have confirmed they are adding a team into the development league and are there any other teams who has stated they intend to add a team into the U20s league

The EOSFL want to wait till the June AGM so no friendlies allowed for the first teams or their own U20s development team. So the East side U20s teams have to fall in line. A bit stupid as all lads at U20s have had a full season of no football and they need it, not only to get back playing but for their own wellbeing
Ginaro
Contact training can only resume on the 17th, so that's two weeks of proper training before the AGM and then 6 Saturdays available for friendlies before the 17th July start date. Doesn't seem that bad to me? Edit: though I see a parent isn't happy on Twitter: Edited May 9, 2021 by Ginaro

Dev
With the switch of the Juniors to the Senior Leagues so the Under 20's Development League continues to grow: Season East West/South Total 2014-2015 6 1 7 2015-2016 8 4 12 2016-2017 9 4 13 2017-2018 8 5 13 2018-2019 18 5 23 2019-2020 23 6 29 2020-2021 30 38 68 2021-2022 38 50 88 Surprisingly only two teams which were due to play in the league "last season" do not appear in the coming season - Kirkcaldy & Dysart and Newmains Utd. The other 66 teams are back. There are 9 newcomers from the East, including SPFL side Stirling Albion. 5 teams come from the new entrants to the East of Scotland League. In the West there are 13 newcomers with 4 from the new teams in the West of Scotland League. Conference "A" seems to contain the SPFL teams plus some from the Lowland League plus Bonnyton Thstle. The remainder look as though they may be in regionalised groups. The newcomers are: East Armadale Craigroyston Edinburgh College Fauldhouse United Livingston United Newtongrange Star Oakley United Stirling Albion West Calder 9 West Ardeer Thistle Ashfield Auchinleck Talbot BSC Glasgow (WOSL) Cambuslang Rangers East Kilbride Thistle Gartcairn Glenvale Harthill Royal Petershill Port Glasgow Shotts Bon Accord St Peters 13

Both clubs are using BSC Glasgow. The South Challenge Cup split it into BSC Glasgow and Broomhill Sports Club. Now the LL are using BSC Glasgow and BSC Glasgow (WoSL). I don't see it changing this season.
