True :D We've got a good record with players like that though, coming here and getting their career back on track. As long as he does better than Gregg Wylde then we'll be pissing ourselves.

I wonder if we'll move to two up front and let Dykes work his magic the way he did for Dobbie at QoS and just let Prapotnik bang them in

Dolly Menga scored 0 goals in about 45 months before he joined Livingston, then he scored 2 goals IN THE SAME SEASON.

Simple maths guarantees that Poplatnik will score at least 20. Or something.

Or he'll be a complete diddy and playing for Falkirk or Partick Thistle next season.

Doing better than Gregg Wylde is setting the bar about as low as it gets, tbf.

Darren Cole says hi.

Scratch that, at least he had a decent couple of months before forgetting how to play football, as opposed to Wylde who just never knew how to in the first place.

"Hearts made a stunning last minute swoop to beat Edinburgh rivals Hibs to the signing of Dunfermline striker Kevin Nisbet, Courier Sport can reveal.
The Pars had accepted a bid in the region of £250,000 for the former Raith Rovers man and the player had agreed personal terms.  Nisbet was undergoing his medical with the Easter Road side last night when news came through to him that Hearts had also made an offer that met the Pars’ valuation of the 23-year-old.

On top of that, they were trying to change Nisbet’s mind with the carrot of substantially bigger wages.

Robbie Neilson rates him highly, and twice tried to bring Dunfermline’s star man to Dundee United – in January and again this summer before he left for Tynecastle.
Even with deeper pockets, though, it was too late.

Nisbet’s mind was already made up – he wants to play in the Premiership and has bought into the vision outlined by Jack Ross and John Potter – and there will be no sensational U-turn.

With Nisbet passing his medical, the transfer should be announced by Hibs today.

Former St Johnstone winger Drey Wright will also sign, with a deal for Alex Gogic close as well."

That, my friends, is absolutely ****ing glorious.  Just when you think things couldn't get any more humiliating for Heart of Midlothian Football Club, they just proceed to throw petrol canisters onto the fire.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Dundee Uniteds signing of Jack Newman this afternoon means all 12 clubs have now made at least one signing in this window.

A glorious day.

Salim Kouider-Aissa signs a 2 year deal with option of a third.  Last two seasons he's scored 58 goals in 75 games, albeit at a pretty shite level but still a good return no matter the level

Must have impressed.

So how did we sign Mark OHara when he was still under contract at Peterborough ? I must be missing something.

You paid cash dolla'

Transfer windows are just registration windows. You can sign players whenever you want, but you can't play them in official games until the window opens and you can register them.

he's not a real 1st team signing though lets be honest here hes a developmental kid, your post sounded like every club has made a 1st team signing this isnt the case :D

Well if i talked about him as a big signing that's going to be  pushing Benji Siegrist i'd get a few choice words from my fellow arabs put it this way.
