Au contraire my Fife friend, judging by the signings and their implied budget constraints "survive" is exactly what the Queens board appear to be setting out to do in this unprecedented season of few if any fans coming through the turnstiles. If we go down, we go down, tough shit - but reading between the lines the over-riding strategy here appears to be most definitely "survival" of the club. It might not be palatable to the silverware chasing Fife galacticos, but it is a strategy driven by logic nevertheless. Yeah well obviously a lot of clubs have to take into consideration the financial difficulties of corona when buying players, but relegation would be financially disastrous.
