Rudi Skacel was a good Ice Hockey player in his day.

Petr Cech too but I believe he said his family couldn't afford it so it stuck to football, he's now playing as reserve goalie for Guildford's reserve team

Also WWE wrestling isn't a sport

This is something extremely common in American Sports. I think a lot of kids grow up playing multiple sports over there and there have been several high profile players who have played professionally in multiple sports.

Bo Jackson played in the NFL and MLB at the same time for several seasons at a high level.

A guy called Dieon Sanders played for both Atlanta Falcons (NFL) and Atlanta Braves (MLB) in a 24 hour period in 1992.

Patrick Mahomes who just won the Super Bowl with the Chiefs father was a Baseball player and was a handy pitcher too, could have been drafted by the MLB. (Detroit Tigers)

Leon McKenzie and Curtis Woodhouse boxed to a really good level, Woodhouse won a british title before losing in his first defense in 2014 to former Albion Rovers player Willie Limond! David Brophy who won commonwealth title at super middlewieght a few years ago was on the books at Dundee Utd before a leg break.  Katie Taylor, 2 weight world champion Olympic gold medalist etc played soccer for Ireland before taking up boxing.

Forgot he was playing Ice Hockey now. Least he looks less out of place with the headgear.

Spot on about Wrestling too.

Woodhouse played and managed a few non league teams. He's at Gainsborough Trinity now.

Deion Sanders is the only guy to play in a Superbowl and the World Series. He is also the only guy to score a touchdown and hit a home run in the same week.

He did try to play an NFL game and an MLB game in the same day (day game in the NFL, night game in MLB). The Braves were unhappy at this and his plane was delayed and he didn't arrive until 10 minutes before the start time so the Braves benched him. The Braves were losing  by a few runs so made the easy decision not to bring him on so two games in one day didn't happen. I suspect if it was a closer game  it would have happened.

Seems fairly common in countries where ice hockey is popular for footballers to have played it in their youth.

Victor Lindelof of Man Utd of played, saw a video of him training with Manchester Storm and he looked decent enough, his brother plays in the Swedish hockey league. Pretty sure I read Zlatan Ibrahimovic wanted to play when he was young but couldn't afford, same reason Petr Cech quit.

Think it was Phil. Heard freddie flintoff talking about him being unbelievably good on talksport the other week
Pretty sure they were both very good but Phil was the better of the 2.

Correct P Neville was rated good enough to potentially play internationally.

Incidentally Ryan Sidebottom's dad Arnie not only represented England at cricket but played several games for Manchester United as a centre half.

Joe Hart got patched from the England squad a couple of years back and instead of watching the England game, went and played cricket for Shrewsbury.
