CM.
Season 2021/22 - Premier Preperation As succesful at the last 2 seasons have been, the going gets really tough now. So lots of changes afoot as I attempt to build a squad capable of survival. Players out will just be typed as I can't be arsed fetching different screenshots for sold/released. Will do on request though. Windows open till end of August but can't see much business being done out or in by this. Any that is done will be updated. Players Out Jon McLaughlin (Toronto FC - £1.4m), Tommy Smith (Philidephia - £500k), Lynden Gooch (Blackpool - £500k), Josh Scowen (Reading - £250k), Chris Maguire (released), Will Grigg (released), Conor McLaughlin (released), Grant Leadbitter (retired). Couple more youth players released and couple loaned out but not really worth mentioning. McLaughlin and Smith were both sold in February/March time to MLS sides with their window open. Players In Edited it a little so positiions and ability can be squeezed into the one screenie. Barron will be put in u23s and loaned out. Sinclair pretty much a risk free signing at £51k. If he turns out good, great. If not, no harm done. A little more of a risk on Cosgrove but I like him as a player IRL which swayed that one more than anything Jones (3rd in a row) and Parrott return for another loan spell. Mavropanos joins permanently. Quite happy with that. Attempt to avoid relegation the expectations. First Team Squad Depth Goalkeepers - Jeroen Zoet, George Long Full Backs - Colin Dagba, Cole Dasilva, Jetro Willems, Denver Hume Centre Backs - Craig Dawson, Jimmy Dunne, Tosin Adarabioyo, Kostantinos Mavropanos, Stuart Findlay Centre Midfielders - George Dobson, Luke O'Nien, Oriol Busquets, Jake Forster-Caskey, Jack Wilshere, Max Power Wide Players - Curtis Jones, Siriki Dembele, Ronan Curtis, Carles Perez Strikers - Troy Parrott, Josh Zirkzee, Stipe Perica, Sam Cosgrove, Jerome Sinclair Several players are competent in other positiions, but these will be the main ones I use each individual in. Mulling over bringing another wide player in but Zirkzee and Sinclair can both play competently on the left hand side so not sure yet.

CM.
AUGUST 2021 // = gap between my scorers and opposition scorers. I won't be able to do this for all games as there will be higher scoring ones with simply no room but just thought it'd be decent for readers to know exactly how the scoring order in games went without me having to post up each match individually. Welcome to the Premier League indeed. Thankfully not too much of a hiding at Tottenham or Man City. Burnley game was excellent, Fulham poor. 10 changes in the cup tie which we scraped through in. Shrewsbury away in R3 where a similarly changed side will probably take field. 2 more bits of transfer news, Reegan Mimnaugh and Denver Hume out on loan to Port Vale and Dundee respectively.
CM.
SEPTEMBER 2021 A new face to repot. Another loanee from Barca to report. Done on deadline day. Great fight back against Everton. Perez just went by players as if they weren't there. Important home win against Palace. Embarrasing against Shrewsbury. It was again a much changed XI in the cup. Lead completely chucked and losing on penalties. Pretty much expected at Anfield. Looking at that and last months fixtures, conceding goals late in the first half seems to be a problem. Will need to bark more concentrate related instructions when we're nearing the interval in future fixtures. West Brom Fuckers. Happy with our league start considering the schedule, the Fulham home defeat obviously being the only disappointment. Other 3 defeats have been away to Spurs, Man City and Liverpool so it's good that they games are already out the way. Would be very delighted if Burnley, Leeds and Palace continue to stink the place out.
dysartrovers
Do you think max power would do a job for Hearts at the top end of the premiership?

dysartrovers
Irvings cause me a few problems in my Aberdeen save. Can turn out very good.Unsure whether to stick to these guys and have decent backup or to replace and keep one of those as backup. Not a lot of wages around to difficult. Hopefully with Europe next season I can build then
CM.
OCTOBER 2021 Not the worst. Games probably went about as expected. Chelsea are having an awful season, was just waiting on them scoring a late winner against me to kickstart their campaign. They've lost 7 out of their first 11 games, winning 2 and drawing 2. Perez again proving his worth this month. A good cushion away from the drop zone. Thought my goal difference was pretty bad till I seen Leeds and Palaces and to a lesser extent Newcastle and QPR Big game to begin November. They are on a rancid run. 8 defeats in first 11 games including their last 5 on the trot. Last 2 were 5-1 and 7-1 defeats at Arsenal and Leicester respectively. I am getting a bit twitchy about this fixture. They're going to beat me after me discussing their abysmal start. They have a not bad squad either, signed the likes of Luiz Filipe, Kieran Tripper, Chris Smalling, Danny Ings and...... Mark Gillespie. First choice keeper too. It's a quiet November with only 2 further fixtures. QPR (H) and Man Utd (A). Expecting a home win and an away loss.
CM.
NOVEMBER 2021 Quite beautiful ends to the Newcastle and QPR games (QPR lead 2-1 at half time), paints over the fact we were extremely lucky to take anything from either game. QPR love conceding 2 goals in injury time to completely turn the game against them... Perez again the difference in games. He might be my top target for a permanent move next season if my budgets allow. Currently worth £16.5m and on £30k a week so would hope I get a budget that makes that doable, especially if I do well this season. Looking like a big title race. Should be exciting to view as a neutral (unless I miracously end up there Still 9 points above the drop zone. Plodding along okay. Expecting Chelsea and Leicester to improve meaning 10th is probably a realistic target for us but not thinking about that just now. As many points away from the drop zone as possible first and foremost. Into the always busy schedule of December. Hoping for 6 points from the Norwich and West Brom home games. Both currently above us but not miles better. Leeds rock bottom but I'm always wary going away from home. Should be winning but a draw probably wouldn't be a disaster. Leicester, high flying Wolves and Arsenal toughies. Not sure what to hope for there.
CM.
In real life football news, my loanee Josh Zirkzee is starting up front for Bayern Munich tonight against Monchelgladbach as Lewandowski is suspended. Genuinly looking forward to seeing what he's like IRL
CM.
DECEMBER 2021 Can't believe we chucked the Leeds game, late equaliser to avoid defeeat barely even got celebrated. Got what I expected to points wise from Norwich and Leicester. Good showing against Wolves (who are still up there). Should've won West Brom game. Complete domination but just never went in. A full 48 hours rest before a trip to the Emirates. Decent enough showing but probably lucky not to lose by more. Perez hasn't went off form, he got injured in the Leeds game and only returned as a sub against Arsenal. Edited June 14, 2020 by C. CM.
January begins with another trip to North London for a nice easy FA Cup tie. Done pish in the FA Cup since starting this save and can't see that continuing. Bournemouth at home the most likely chance of a victory. Can probably forget Liverpool. Other games capable of taking something from but all away from home and that Leeds game in December shows me nothing is guarenteed even if you're playing a side in crap form and/or have a comfortable lead in the game.
CM.
JANUARY 2022 As expected in the cup and going down to 10 before half time never helped. First away win in the league at Sheff Utd, put to bed very early on. Barely anything happened after Wilshere's goal. Was nice to lead against Liverpool but was never going to last. Absolutely seething against Bournemouth. Zirkzee missed an absolute sitter then Bournemouth went up the park and got a penalty. Quintero smacked it against the post where my whole team just stood still allowing Fraser to nip in and score the rebound. I was still half raging during the West Brom game which proved costly as I lost concentration and it ended up a hammering. Huge win at 18th placed Burnley to end the month, which takes us 11 points above the drop zone. Liverpool opened up a gap but not a massive one. Wolves still plodding along excellently. Not looking good for QPR. Only 3 games in each February and March so will update them at the same time. Schedule is.. February could easily be 0 points but hopefully take something positive from both home games, particularly Leicester. March a massive month which should determine whether we stay in the Premier League or get dragged into uncertainty. Looking for at least 7 points from they 3 fixtures, especially as we have a tough run-in.
CM.
Forgot to say, 1 in 1 out in January Out In 4th loanee from Barcelona. Hopefully some sort of affiliation gets set up Wary of the amount of loans coming in but a few of them have made a big difference. 8 loans I have on the books! Edited June 16, 2020 by C. CM.
FEBRUARY/MARCH 2022 An abysmal showing at an admittedly excellent Wolves side sandwiched in between 2 great results. As stated in last update, February could've easily been a month with 0 points so delighted with 4. Not quite the minimum 7 points I was looking for but the unexpected return last month makes up for it. Should've done enough now. QPR pretty much goners but still a glimmer of hope for Burnley and Leeds. Liverpool should clinch their 3rd title in a row from here. The run-in.. Victory in the derby will take us to the magic 40 points mark. Not expecting an awful lot from the fixtures following.
CM.
Zirkzee is a fucking donkey. Thought it was a major coup getting him aswell. Constantly misses one on ones/sitters. A pathetic 2 goals in 26 apps. I might or might not be absolutely seething after a derby defeat where Zirkzee was guilty of missing chance after chance.
CM.
APRIL/MAY 2022 Bad first 3 games but managed to recover well to end the season with a 4 game unbeaten run. Delighted with that. And in truth, points wise, we were always a good cushion away from the drop zone therefore never in any real danger.
