George Floyd/Black Lives Matter Protests

Recommended Posts

Sad (yet completely unsurprising) to see Mallo take a brief interlude from his VT tribute act to mimicking the simpleton formerly known as Ali_91’s “that’s racist cos dots!” act.
Personally, I find posters who repeatedly ruin threads by trying to paint others as racists to be on equal footing with those who link their politics with their football or attempt to point score over other unsavoury allegations associated with football clubs. Utter dregs.

What part of the below post do you particularly disagree with?

Unfortunately I think you'd get booing from at least a handful of people from a number of the full time clubs in Scotland.
The use of "Marxism" as a defence is even more scary to me than the fact it's out and out racism. That shows how far the alt right c***s online have embedded themselves in peoples brain and the influence they have.

Having just read it from your quote, none at all.

Glad that’s that cleared up for you, albeit you already knew the answer and are simply trying too hard. Please refrain from trying to engage with me any further on the matter. There’s football to be watched and dinner to be prepared so a twitchy ignore-list finger might be better utilised in the kitchen.

I was talking about the coloured circles m876 as well you know, my thoughts on racism are on the EFL thread.

Even on that post though you're trying to do the both sides thing that you've been rightly criticised for before.

I dismiss the Far Left & Marxist types as much as I dismiss the likes of Griffin & Yaxley-Lennon as hate filled rabble rousers.

You're seriously trying to equate everyone who subscribes to an ideology that has built anti-racism into its foundation to full-throated racist criminals. You're seriously suggesting that self-described Marxists and socialists such as Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, CLR James, many of the people within the Black Lives Matter movement and the lynchpins of other major historical civil rights movement are "hate filled rabble rousers" every bit as bad as nativist swivel-eyed bigoted reactionaries.

I really don't think any self-confessed Tory voter can make any denunciations of the far left tbh. You have approved of a party which has been gleefully turning the big dial of racism every chance they've had for the last decade and have a proud history of race-baiting and xenophobia.

Why are you voting down posts without reading them? Feels like a recipe for disaster.

Tory minister appears to back the stance taken by Millwall fans.

Have the tories decided that supporting blm is not a vote winner, and opposing it might be? Fucking hell.

It’s more simple than that. They’re just a party supported exclusively by complete vermin. Outright racism has been part of their brand for a long time now.

The person asking why a post decrying racism was downvoted is definitely the "utter dregs" here

Surely whilst on a dotting campaign you don’t check the posts ?? I’m taking it the easiest and fastest way is you just go on their profile and dot away to your hearts content ?? Surely you’re targeting the poster and not the post ?? Absolutely fascinating stuff

You mean like the exact same thing Marshmallo did with dear old Rab and has been doing with Bairnardo for god knows how long, only he can’t take it so starts bleating about non-existent racism? That thing?

You change your mind like a girl changes clothes. Yeah you, PMS like a bitch I would know. And you over think. Always speak. Cryptically. I should know that you're no good for me.

'Cause you're hot then you're cold. You're yes then you're no. You're in then you're out. You're up then you're down. You're wrong when it's right. It's black and it's white. We fight, we break up. We kiss, we make up.

You don't really want to stay, no. But you don't really want to go. You're hot then you're cold. You're yes then you're no. You're in then you're out. You're up then you're down.

We are never going to agree with each other m9, as I said earlier there is a marked difference between either extreme with regards to racism & I did rescind that particular comment. Far right ideologies promote hatred & division, far left ideologies promote inclusion & harmony, however there is unfortunately an imbalance that always seems to result in a hatred and jealousy amongst certain elements which allows others (lets be honest, the MSM & those on the opposite side ideogically speaking) to point out that those people, not the movements to which they are attached are the hate filled rabble rousers of which I speak. Yes, i voted Tory twice, after this shitshow I will never make that mistake again, yet I am a socialist at heart but full blown Communism & Marxism has never worked in the real world without severely restricting civil liberties and coming close to martial law. Personally I am not a fan of how this country is run & I hope for a future where we are, politically speaking, left of centre & a far more equal society than we are right now. At the same time I accept that Capitalism, to a degree, is a neccessary evil to promote growth but we are increasingly in a position where that growth in fiscal terms is heading into a select few hands & that is wrong and needs to change either by taxation or stricter rules on employee profit sharing. Bottom line is that I have next to no interest in Politics & I am just trying to live my life while trying to help & be as nice to as many people as I can. I cannot change the perception you have of me but you seem to think I am something that I am not. I seem to have made such an impression on you that you will continue to have a go at me no matter what so best if we stick each other on ignore and get on with whatever time we have left.

If players feel the need to take the knee then fair enough same as if thy choose not to, it's their decision. Same as if a player chooses to cross themselves when going on the pitch, I don't belive in their sky fairies but that's their choice and I certainly wouldn't lose any sleep if a player chose to do it at a game I'm watching.

English football binned Black Lives Matter weeks ago, so the 'Marxist' excuse is  blown out the water. Not that these 'fans' really are about that.

What were the Millwall fans booing then?
