Putting kids in prison or detention centres for one off minor crimes is not an acceptable response. It also doesnt help the kid to come out and not offend, all it does is expose the kid to others who have committed even more serious offences who have a blase attitude to their behaviour. If a teenager has committed a very serious offence (assault with serious injury, sexual offences, murder or the likes) or is a repeat offender (ie im aware of kids in care homes who come and go freely despite brazenly boasting about spending every night stealing cars or breaking into houses/shops, some with upto 100 pending cases at 16) then yes there may be no better alternative, but a wee lassie whos stolen something, committed a minor assault and not done her homework? Nah that shouldnt even see the inside of a court room in a proper society.

I would like to see the workings of an allegedly Responsible & Learned Judge who thinks that putting a teenager with ADHD & possibly other difficulties into the prison system, even at that early stage ,is a good idea & will not cause any issues in the near to mid term.

Can we just fast forward to the bit where Bennett cries about being bullied and pretends his mental health has been affected? Again.

Is it any wonder that people do tend to bottle things up rather than being able to open up about issues they maybe struggling with. Thankfully people like this are in a minority.

Some Nedette in the US who couldn't behave herself got taught a lesson by a judge, not sure why it's an issue in Scotland.

Its nothing like the justice system over here, kids getting locked away for relatively minor offences over there sometimes for years. Over here it can take something like 40/50 detected crimes before they even see criminal proceedings.
Quite a lot of people from difficult backgrounds are plunged into the youth court system in the US for absolute nothing offences and its an absolute disgrace.

What are you struggling with exactly? Not being enough of a shite contrarian troll? Not posting as much snidey garbage as you can usually manage in a week?

Indeed. Scotland is absolutely hoaching with neds who know that until they are 18 they can get away with anything, and it shows.

Most adults with mental health problems tend to empathise with others having similar difficulties , yet here you are having a pop at a 15 year old kid who would appear to be struggling with these issues.

You're complaining about people having a go at folk with mental health issues literally just a few posts after having a go at a 15 year-old kid with mental health issues?

What is it that you get out of this, does it really make your life any better?

As others have pointed out, you're whining about mental health, a handful of posts after dismissing a 15y/o kid with genuine mental health issues as a "wee nedette"

This is exactly the kind of shitposting you continually indulge in, and is exactly why no one takes you seriously when you start greeting about it.

Again I've  got to ask what does this achieve for you, does it really make your life in any better?

Stop lashing at out at people and look at yourself Jupe.

Good night.

Morning Jupe, another day of pomposity and bitterness then?

Not all Bennett.

Just a quick chuckle at the pathetic lack of self-awareness in your posts.

Another day of snivelling attention-seeking for yourself is it?

Enjoy 😊
