I understand, but why did all those clubs go it alone? Doesn’t it say something when your solution is embraced by none of your members? Anyway, a little over an hour before we find out if anything was learnt last night.

You claimed the clubs had been left to their own devices.  They werent. They were offered a solution and chose to set things up themselves instead. Criticising the SPFL for what they offered is a different argument.

If there was genuine appetite for a central system it would have happened with or without the SPFL.

What was learned last night is that Pixellot had issues that were absolutely nothing to do with the clubs.

That might have been learned at some games but not Morton's game. (Our Pixellot, which we chose not to use, worked fine, as we saw on a dodgy third party stream).

We learned nothing there though. We already knew Morton were completely incompetent and were going to screw it right up.

Sorry if I've missed it but what's the deal with the SPFL's coverage? How is the income being distributed to the clubs? The fist thought that springs to mind is that it will take customers from clubs own streaming, depriving them of a back up main source of income. It seems really fucking stupid at first glance.

This was asked in the ppv prices thread.

The spfl streaming is overseas only unless the club choose to use it domestically, as ICT have.

The clubs all get a share of the overseas revenue.

I believe our first game of the league season (Inverness at home) got just over 1600.

However, there was no breakdown of how many season ticket holders that included and how many were single game purchases.

Yes, clubs a bit quiet on streaming numbers. Not sure if this reflects how poor numbers are or inability to split season ticket holders, home or away purchases.

What is sure is that most would have folded or went part-time had the government not come up with that £500,000 grant. Any news if it has been paid out?

Will be interesting to see how they present Scottish Cup streaming figures as they must surely have to split between both teams less expenses.

Last I saw was that the SFA had paid out half the grant money in advance to clubs as they are still waiting on the Government handing it over.
