LUCKY NUMBER 7 ~ The Hamilton Academical 2020/2021 Thread.

Recommended Posts

Onwards, Always and Forever.

The Premiership Machine looks to take on 2020/2021 Scottish Premiership.

Our foes:-

  • Aberdeen
  • Celtic
  • Dundee United
  • Hibernian
  • Kilmarnock
  • Livingston
  • Motherwell
  • Rangers
  • Ross County
  • St. Johnstone
  • St. Mirren

None of which are a match for Brian Rices Premiership Machine.

With the additional money coming our way from the new lucrative SKY SPORTS deal, we will be approaching wealth that is similar to Donald Trumps at this rate.

Now for a few smug images:-

As usual f**k  the rest of Scottish Football.

For the amount of hatred they generate just for having two stands, and for consistently pumping Hearts when it mattered, Hamilton are one of the good guys.

Glad to have you on board for yet another year, lads.

Bit gutted we didnt get the chance to chuck a game away to you lot at the end of this season, as has become tradition.

Hopefully this season we can combine to relegate United, hopefully you'll repeat the 18/19 favour if we need it.

Can't believe it's now been 6 seasons since that play off game. Very few could have predicted it would become such an era defining fixture for both clubs.

A couple of other things, Accies were in the bottom tier at the beginning of the century, to be going in to a 7th consecutive top flight seson is incredible.

Also, (unsure if I've read this correctly) is this now your longest top tier spell since WW2 ?

Are Accies the 6th-longest serving team in the top flight? It's almost like all this relegation avoidance isn't a fluke....

Had to check that to be sure.

Jesus we are.

We are part of the establishment now.

Lucky? Never. I don't get the seethe for Hamilton. Yes their ground is tinpot and their pitch is Gen1 astro but you can't fault their effort. Fully deserve to be in the top league instead of the knuckle dragging, Gorgie hoofballers.

It's lucky that we don't have a play off... although I have full confidence, regardless of what Championship pish gets thrown our way, that Accies would comfortably win over 2 legs.

Three Premiership play-off ties, three wins.

I don't want to make assumptions but there was literally a 0% chance we would've gone down via a play-off.
