Scotty Tunbridge Posted November 4, 2020 Share Posted November 4, 2020 Trafford out for three months, Hughes for a couple of weeks and Hamilton definitely out of the Rangers game but Rice doesn't know a time period for him. Also no signings until January which isn't really surprising. None of them are huge misses but Hughes was Temps' backup in the last couple of games and Hamilton's development is annoyingly stop/start. “You know us Marcus, we aren’t ones to moan about bad luck or injuries. Not kicked a ball since March for Carlisle *Why are we signing players who will take half a season to reach match fitness?!* . 41 apps and 9 goals isn't a bad record though with his previous. It's not clear whether there was anything more to it beyond Thomas not really being needed but he just sort of disappeared after 2 appearances (1 start, 1 sub) and he ended up being a "forgot they played for Motherwell" pub quiz question type player. By all accounts he ended up doing really well at Hartlepool which was what got him his move to Sheffield United. 14 goals in 56 games isn't a bad return for a wide player.
