Sarto Mutiny
Aye, the Tony Watt signing hasn't really worked out, it seemed to hamper Motherwell more than it directly benefitted us. A split is probably best for both parties.
mishtergrolsch
4 goals and 3 assists in 30 games I think I read somewhere. That's pretty stinking. I'm also aware he played out wide etc and it's not all about the stats but 4 goals for a forward in 30 games is most certainly not a good return for the investment.
skinny arab
Watt scored 3 in 5 games earlier in the season when we played him through the middle then there was the red card against Motherwell (overturned) and not many opportunities following although there was a rumoured falling out with Fox. Watt has shown previously that he is very capable when he wants to be but I think it takes a certain type of manager to get the best out of him and I don’t think that’s Fox although the majority of the blame has to lie with the player imo. If he does move on we sure as hell need to replace him as Fletcher has already had injury problems this season and after some early promise Anaku doesn’t look ready for this level yet and we also failed to replace Clark who despite his perceived shortcomings was our top scorer for the last two seasons.
Ray Patterson
Can Killie afford his wages? They don't seem to be keen on spending £3-4k a week on players, plus we'll be after a sizable fee. I'm not against him leaving but only it makes the decision to punt Clark look even more foolish. Weird that Anaku has been paraded on the media rounds and still has yet to make an appearance since the World Cup.

ArabFC
Watt was one of our best and most liked players last season - despite a lack of goals. A few games on the bench and folk are wanting rid? Y'all mad!

Hes getting very little game time but when he has come on, hes been either uninterested or just looked like he couldnt give a f**k

Every time the ball came near him I couldn't watch. I and a few mates agreed he was far from POTM. He scored and the sponsors were half cut.

If Watt goes aswell as Clark in the Summer window does that not mean we'd be in the market for another forward in the Winter window too...

If a bairn can kick a ball in what resembles a straight line by age 13 then Man City etc al usually snap them up and pay them more than our top earners just incase they're any good. If not they're jettisoned by 21, minted and looking to start a career somewhere like us. Ironically.

The days of us having a Gauld, Souttar or Armstrong playing 50+ games are over. Any hint of talent and the big clubs swoop. Not surprised either - have seen very little of the kid, but he's one of those you can immediately tell has something about him.
