Be very surprised if Ross goes voluntarily.

He’d be mad to.

Why would he give up a six figure salary for the next two (?) years?

After 6 games it would be utter madness.

I don’t particularly rate him, but FFS give him a chance.

There’s three possibilities.

1.  He’s had a poor start and can turn things around.  I’d like some pointers to show this is the case.

2.  He’s shite and has no chance of turning things around.  If so United must bite the bullet and get rid of him (and Ashgar too).

3.  He was simply looking for a pay off and will retire from football management.  In which case a hit man might be cheaper and preferable to a pay off.

Just skimmed the last few pages. What a fcuking shambles.

Ross may end up getting sacked sooner or maybe later, but the notion of doing so after four league games is fcuking insane!

Killie was a fair enough performance for a team just scraped together.

Livi was clearly the players having eyes on AZ.

And the last two are horrendous but the players confidence has fairly obviously been shot by THAT result. It’ll take time to turn that around.

Wanting the manager sacked before September? You’re all quite quite mad.

Many St Mirren fans wanted Robinson sacked after our first 2 League games. But it has all gone quiet now. Fans should be ignored most of the time.

Heard a rumour that Ross has walked...

Always amuses me that fans think a manager "would walk" and throw away a huge payoff, particularly at the start of a more than decent contract.

As others have said he's worth giving time. I don't think he'll be the Messiah but he's perfectly competent. One thing I always felt with Jack was that we were perpetually on the up, even if it was fairly gradual and there was disappointment along the way. Obviously when it's this bad its hard to stomach, but once he, the players and the fans do so and carve out a couple of results things will start to look better.

You may look to move him on in time but sacking him now does neither the club nor the players any favours.

If you end up losing the next five on the bounce then fair enough but I can't see that being the case.

I can't really be arsed looking, but I bet there will be people on here who wanted the manager sacked after one league game last season.

True.

He was one game away from getting Sunderland promoted and one game away from being a complete legend for Hibernian though so it really is fine margins.

And Fergie was apparently one game away from being punted from Man U and we know what happened next!

We can but hope Ross can emulate Fergie.

P.S. that last line is NOT to be taken seriously.

When is the last time you heard a manager saying , yes the results  are poor and I'm not the man to turn it around , so I'm going.

It never happens they all say I will turn it around etc etc,

Am I surprised at the results ? Yes  but do I think Ross will go willingly no chance
