The Dundee United Thread 22/23

Recommended Posts

See the username “patter like water” it doesn’t really work. In Ayrshire some people, including me, will say “watter” instead of “water”. That’s where the saying “your patter is like watter” comes from. Because the “watter” rhymes with “patter”.

I assume this is what the user name is supposed to be in reference to.

Safranko would have so much to offer in that area, we are obviously lacking there.  If true that he really wants it, surely it’s almost a formality?

Hardly. The other club have to be willing to let him go, and even if they do they might want it to be permanent, or are seeking a substantial loan fee.

The chat on Twitter seems to be that United have either sent info to their hospitality season ticket holders or published something online (not sure where, have only seen a screenshot) suggesting that they believe less than 1000 is the current plan for limited fan entry.

The message mentions that hospitality ST holders have priority with the remainder going to a general season ticket ballot.

Well this all looks like trouble in paradise. Fans fighting amongst themselves, players flouting Covid rules, heavy defeats on the pitch, tumbling down the table and your star striker not playing a single minute of the season due to injury.

Tough times indeed... :whistle

Trying to work out who this star striker is - it can't be Shankland since he started against St Johnstone on the opening day.

Some absolute melts having tantrums about this.
It's 1000 more than we were allowed in before and it's a start which should go up as the season progresses.

It makes sense for the people who pay the most to be let back first, I suppose

It's bullshit Tory games is what it is but that's the way of it.

Really you'd think that the United fans would have picked up on that before you.
