Ginaro
Quote Mr Chisholm argued that a failure to declare league winners could lead to problems nominating a side for participation in next season's senior Scottish Cup. Historically, the winners of the West Premiership are awarded a potentially money spinning place in the competition. Mr Chisholm claimed SFA chief executive Rod Petrie would be less inclined to accept a nomination based on anything other than final league standings. He went on to suggest that using an average points per game formula to decide leagues would be more likely to satisfy the SFA. I have no idea why someone from the club who would stand to benefit from a PPG formula would bring up the issue of using PPG to nominate a club for the Scottish Cup... whitburn exile
If true and why would the paper print it without evidence then just null and void the season or finish it in the positions as was
Jerry Macguire
Talbot manipulating behind the scenes to get their own way. Who could have predicted that? No wait. I did. Destroying minutes from meetings. Wow.
archieb
So he says he excused himself from the room while the subject of nullifying the season or declaring champions etc was discussed and decided (because of an obvious interest). Then after it didn't go the way he wanted he lobbied successfully to undo the decision and have it changed to one which materially benefits his club! If that's not corruption, what is?!?

traffordab
Shock horror an official using his position to benefit his club. It's happening all over scottish football hardly crime of the century. Mr Chisholm has done a good job in the west juniors for a while now as has Mr Fyfee. Don't think this article is providing much earth shattering news. -
cmontheloknow
Can we have a wee vote for officials for the new set up, and when we do, have one that basically says 'unless you're a Good Guy (Kennie), previous applicants need not apply'

Killiepiyo
So a reporter who mainly covers Kilwinning, bases his article on apperently incomplete recalled minutes? Or am I missing something?

classof2010
Would it not be more competent to wait until you have the finalised minutes? It’s incredulous that you think there is nothing wrong with this vote doesn’t go his way so wee private emails to fyfe and then there is emails being asked to be deleted come on this is corrupt to the core this is worse than Dundee vote being lost all because talbot want the Scottish cup place
Killiepiyo
Theres not enough in any of that for me to draw any firm conclusions other than minutes were being recalled and an email refers to other emails which I cant read for context. Perhaps they will make all the documents and finalised minutes available for us all to see and reach our own conclusions?
