Curmudgeon
Fairly conventional with ham, cheese, tomato and either pickle or mustard depending on notion at the time. Great thread, and a fitting way to celebrate piece in Europe.
101
I have never seasoned a sandwich, have I been doing it wrong?

By far and away the most important contribution to this thread so far. What’s a sandwich? It’s a fucking piece.

Ya Bezzer!
My GF thinks I'm a weirdo because I have chopped banana in brown bread sandwiches. My granny used to make them and I have continued this probably 1920s practice into the current day. Fish finger sandwich is great as well. Get loads of tomato and tartar sauce on there!

Granny Danger
47 minutes ago, Turkmenbashi said: Anyone have any recommendation for decent vegetarian sandwiches? No tomato or cucumber please I’ve had barbecued vegetarian on brown bread with a thin spreading of mustard. Very tasty. I had been half way through typing ‘spit roasted’ as opposed to ‘barbecued’ but thought better of it.

Dan Steele
Favourite sandwich is bacon, avocado and tomato. Best ever sandwich eaten was Pastrami with a dill pickle from Carnegie Deli in NYC.
MONKMAN
Literally anything on bread is better than it not being on bread. Few truer words have ever been spoken.
Bairnardo
Few truer words have ever been spoken. If you know that everything can go on bread, and cheese can go on everything, you need never be short of quality grub.
Bert Raccoon
Quite like just ham, Cheese and coleslaw. Best I've ever had was from NYC Deli in Glasgow, Pulled Pork, Black Pudding, Tattie Scone, Coleslaw and Chipotle Sauce in a toasted Chiabatta. Outstanding.
