What Artwork Do You Have In Your Home?

Recommended Posts

Not much on display, other than an old photo of The Cross in Kilmarnock and my certificate for a brick at RP - walls are apparently for family photos.
Plenty of albums with cracking art on them, mind - no matter what you think of Yes or Budgie, Roger Dean turned out some arresting images.

Manchester smart-arses 10cc had a few Psygnosis covers as well:

I've loads more, and I've always been a big fan of Albums as a total package. When I first got DSOTM and found it came with a poster, the stickers with Venus and Mars by Wings (TBTBCHB), the posters in the White Album - all lovely wee additions. Custom inner sleeves, lyrics, fold-outs like the Giger cover on Brain Salad Surgery - a joy that is gone forever. I even have a copy of "In Through The Out Door" which has the "magic painting" inner sleeve as well as the plain brown bag outer cover.
* Rumour had it that when you first slit the black plastic to get at the album, a whif of the odour of roasting flesh would be given off.
Watched a brilliant documentary about the WYWH album and the stuntmen in the cover photo. Mad b*****ds.

I wanted this for the hall. Let's just say negotiations have reached an impasse.

The hall?

Better in the servant's quarters, keep them on their toes.

I like to do a bit of painting so I tend to have a lot of my own all of the place, I have given loads to family and friends and am actually doing a couple of paintings for an Arab mate back in Dundee.
I tend to quite like painting them then being instantly bored and picking faults in them but here are a few, not sure how many it will let me put up at one go.

Wouldn't class as art work...but some old gig posters, a few oor wullies and other stuff. I won't bore you with paintings of the dugs. Also numerous skateboard decks hang in the hall.

That’s my favourite of yours that you’ve posted. The night shows what you can do with your depth and shading. If that was in a gallery I’d expect that to get about £3k.
