FairWeatherFan
Think the meeting was sometime this month, but might not hear specific news until the SFA AGM when things are typically made official.

Did clubs not start putting out twitter posts as soon as they'd been told they were passed - before officially being OK'd at AGM?

Dev
This was mentioned on a recent thread - not sure which - and there's a meeting scheduled for Wednesday 25th May when the SFA will make decisions, subject to AGM approval. Not long now before we see some clubs Tweeting away with big news!

I'd say that for us - when we got our licence last year it was the most significant thing to happen to us since 2003.

Kenny*******Powers
Surely the more teams that gain a license is going to dilute the cash clubs currently get for being licensed
FairWeatherFan
It's not something that pays out a fixed amount. It's tied into the SFA's financial performance and a club's level of licencing. Maybe some other factors. While the share might well be diluted. Cash in hand might increase overall over a set number of years due to revenues increasing above the dimishing share percentage.

A little bump for this as Rutherglen Glencairn are the first (unless I've missed others) to announce they will be SFA members from 21st June. I assume the others will receive a yay or nay at the same time.

The SFA Board had a meeting on May 25th and were presented with those applications that are finalised. Those that were successful will have been given the same notification as below. It will be up to them to go public on it. Now that someone has i'm sure others will follow since their fans at the very least will be asking questions. I don't know if there's still time for any last minute boxes being ticked ahead of the AGM or if May 25th was the last chance to be licenced for the start of 2022-23. EDIT: Tayport have just tweeted about their membership. Edited June 1, 2022 by FairWeatherFan
