In first year English in 1997

This just made me think "WTF, I thought he was about 35". I even had a gif up ready to send, then it dawned on me I was first year in 2000. So you are about 35. I feel old. :(

I don't like those numbers. Please refrain from typing them out again.

Thank you.

I am indeed 35. I'll be 36 in December.

Insanity. I too dislike these numbers, so let us never talk of them again.

Just watched this last night and a few thoughts:

1 - No idea who Manly was, never remember him playing for us.

2- Wieghorst - what a forking player.

3 - George Shaw (& James Grady a couple of seasons later) - tiny wee forker(s) who could fair head a ball.

4 - Had totally forgotten that Shannon & Bett played for the DABS

5 - I know that it's starting from a low base, but the DABS top was the absolute pits. Tangerine to start with, but then a reddish ROVER logo, horrible stripes down it and the ridiculous font for the numbers on the back - an absolute abortion of a kit. No wonder hardly anyone in the stands was wearing one.

6 - Ballboy behind the goal - legend.

7 - Gerry Britton looks like a science experiment gone wrong and the ponytail didn't help.

8 - Totally forgot about "Pony" as a sportswear brand - what a lot of pish.

9 - Paul Tosh - oh dear.

10 - Jim Duffy's suit and tie - just wow....

All in all, a fairly enjoyable hour of lockdown. More please, BBC...

Roddy Manley? All I remember about him is him scoring two own goals at Brockville for us as a Falkirk player in late 87. We beat Morton 7-1 and Falkirk 6-0 in consecutive away games

Did he not hit the bar too, narrowly missing out on a hat trick?

That apart, a great player over years for us. I seem to recall he nearly died on the operating table while at St Mirren.
