Wasn’t much of a guess as to who’d be at the sharp end tbh.Pollok,Darvel Kilwinning,Medda etc

Fixture guy will be too busy trying to fit in his beloved vital Junior Cup ties 🤣

Hmm, seems a bit disrespectful to the teams in question but that's your call. Are you suggesting the Buffs, etc aren't going to be as good by the time Talbot play them?

They are the only team above us in the league and haven’t played anybody in the top half of the table except us after 10 games.

It just seems a bit fortunate….

That's just the way the fixtures work out sometimes. We've played 9 games, and 7 of them against teams in the top half of the table, including 6 of the current top 7.

The Bankies Alive guy is an embarresment to the decent Clydebank supporters and has already been told to put a sock in it by a Bankies fan in another thread. In all honesty he can't keep off a Talbot thread because he's totally obsessed. There is no easy games in this league and its maybe why everybody is enjoying it. As for the remark easy teams I find this disrespectful in so many ways.

They've only played us in the first game of the season but haven’t played Kilwinning,Darvel,Pollok,Hurlford or Medda? Not even a derby with Cumnock?

Not saying they won’t win these games but the fixtures do seem to have been favourable so far!

The medals aren't given out now though.

Never at any time have I mentioned easy teams but carry on if it makes you feel better.

Cumbernauld on Saturday after the first full week of rest of the season.

Saw the interview with the assistant manager saying he was pleased to be spending more time on fitness now the mideeks are free. I think most teams at this level will feel the same regardless of squad size.

With a 38 game league season this probably won't be the norm so teams should make the most of it now.

True. Probably a good time to use the squad and try to keep everyone fit and healthy ahead of the next onslaught whenever it might arrive. At least they know what the next month or two holds although the cups generally have a habit of obliterating planned fixtures.

There will be midweek games added to the fixture list as required, but with the end of Phase 1 likely to be in November that will leave around 26 weeks till the end of May. So providing the country isn't locked down again we should be able to complete the season comfortably without the Saturday / Wednesday / Saturday / Wednesday / Saturday schedule all teams have had recently. A lot will depend on how certain teams progress in cup competitions as well, of course. The price of success is very often a hectic schedule at the end of the season, but that isn't unique to our level of football.

You have both been lulled into a false sense of security by the current calm conditions and not mentioned that here will be postponements due to poor weather, fact!

Well they can't reschedule those games until they've been postponed!

Fingers crossed it's as mild as the last couple of years but If it's one on 'those' winters I wouldn't want to be the fixture guy.
