Walking Down the Beechwood Road mk 2

Yeah that was under whelming, hard to even call it a slap, ball being blasted off the Talbot players face is more of an assault imo

The Pollok number 2 was like that with Ross Talyor throughout,  including holding him in a headlock on the ground at one point and clearly hoping for some retaliation. Taylor didn't take the bait and the piss weak Ref did nothing to protect him from the assault. unsurprisingly it's not in the highlights vid.

Yes it should have been a red card. Are you happy now. Its a swinging arm rather than a punch though so quit the assualt hyperbole.

The same video also shows it was a clear red card for preventing a goal scoring opportunity. I have yet to see a Pollok fan mention this

Pollok came to dive, play act and niggle away. Its what Maxwell's Rob Roy team did and is your managers tactic. You got what you deserved from the game- f**k all and the fact you are all raging about the perceived injustice of the red card is all the sweeter

It’s exactly how Tucker’s Talbot team plays as well, always has been. Just the current team, whilst still the second best in the league, are nowhere near the level of years ago. Hopefully Darvel go up and Pollok can have an honest official at Beechwood next season.

The incident you're talking about was a wee bit far away for me to comment on.

Kidding on. Should have been a red, aye. The lads are right about the last man thing but taking the three points probably takes the sting out of it, mind you.

Game should have finished 10 players a piece.

Bitter much? You're wasting it now.

Better bring a decent defence as well if you want anything

Every Pollok fan STILL ignoring they should have had a player sent off as well

Massive difference between assaulting an opponent and making a foul that could be deemed a red card. Covering defender and over 30 yards from goal. It’s a yellow in my opinion. If you remove Gow or move the situation 10 yards up the field then absolutely it is a red card.

It’s the post game ramifications as well. If Rumsby is red carded Pollok lose him for one game and it doesn’t change the result.  If the Talbot player goes it’s a different game and Talbot lose a talented player for three games. No other team gets these decisions.

Freeze frame when the tackle is made. No 5 is 5 yards behind Boylan and is a donkey, Boylan is one of the fastest players in the league, he is not catching him, there is no covering defender.. At least talbot fans admit we should have a red. Pollok fans are deluded and making things up to deny they should be down to ten.

As for Mason getting banned, we bring in Samson or Shankland or Boylan. All are better players, Mason is getting game time because of squad rotation

There there. That's the two games against big bad Talbot by for this year.

Did Taylor not get booked or was that another incident not shown either ? He does get a bit of treatment in most games

The incident in the first half is a definite red.
shocking that between two officials they thought that it was a yellow and then also booked the wrong player.

The Rumbsy foul equally looks a red on watching it back, from my view at the game I thought Gow was closer.

However two wrongs don’t make a right, 10 men after 30 mins and it is a very different game and the second incident may not have taken place.

Definitely two red card due from the video-one for each.

The fact of the matter is that we had to see the game out when we were right back in it but we lost concentration and conceded far too quickly yet again at Auchinleck.

If you think a head lock is an assault then your no 9 must have attempted murder !

if the incident you are referring to was in the bottom corner in 2nd half then I doubt from the Pollok camera man angle you could have got a decent view of that. if you watch the highlights he could easily have left out the Rumbsy foul but didn’t, as very rarely he doesn’t show all incidents.
