Walking Down the Beechwood Road mk 2

Recommended Posts

Thought your lads put in a shift and did well to frustrate us in the final 3rd. Decent crowd you brought up and score aside hopefully they had a good day out. Was pretty similar to our game against Banks O Dee last season, a well organised hard working team but just not able to really trouble Jamie Macdonald at the back. There’s certainly no disgrace in losing to a Full Time team several divisions above. I’m quite glad our manager chose to respect your club and not throw out half a team as you’ve got a great cup record and are a banana skin for clubs like us. Good luck in your other competitions this season.

Agree , 2nd goal goalkeeper and 3rd Taylor short back pass. Raith well deserved move onto next week now interesting to see who plays
First one should have shut down quicker and big Andy unlucky not to save it , 2nd one bad deflection that Andy was saving, and 3rd one messing about at the back and got caught.

Thought Tucker had played it well for an hour keeping Raith at bay. This is a game we shouldn’t win as the levels are obvious.  Would just like to have seen what could have been if we maybe got a bit more adventurous and back to our normal shape with more attacking players on the pitch. I think we finished the game with 6 defenders on the pitch.

Anyway we will never know and on to a massive game next week and hopefully back to the form we were showing.

Well done to the club again for a good showing in the competition, also another good turnout again .

He was injured when he came off, not clear why Samson didn’t come on
Spat the dummy when he wasn't starting probably and not for the first time.
His attitude during the game was terrible.
Stood himself all game never done anything at half time and sprinted straight up the touchline at full time.

Yes noticed that myself actually thought at HT he was in the dressing room as he was coming on for Boylan, these games are hard enough you need your best players on the park.

Was injured and that came from Morton on committee

Why was he listed as a sub if he was injured?

just like Brian Hewitt was named the sub goalie in the last round when he was on crutches. No sure what your wanting him to do run about injured or something ??

You need to name a sub keeper in the Scottish Cup or you get a heavy fine.
